Summary: Great little phone. If all you want is a simple cell phone for phone calls, this is a perfect phone. It has great antenna coverage and is really easy to use. It does not have a camera. Has limited features. Better than any cell phone I have ever owned!
Summary: Nice little phone, but I could never activate it because (according to Net10) the phone had "not been paid for" at the original store. Also note that you will not be able to use this phone on Verizon or other CDMA network, only Net10. What a waste of time.
Summary: I cant remember my first phone it was junk and broke then i got this my second prepaid phone and i used it for three years before getting a smart phone and finally getting an unlimited plan but i still have this phone and it still works the sound quality is good never once had problems sending texts or droped calls and let me say durable little thing it still looks practically new and the battery life is pretty good i use it as my alarm clock to this day and only need to...
Tracfone lied it does not work on Verizon cell towers
5 April 2012
Summary: The tracfone is does not work I spent 4 hours with tracfone the only cell tower my area is CDMA which is verizon and tracfone states on its website that this cell phone will work in my zipcode weel they lied it does not work and they can't get it to work
Excerpt: Got work in Montana, went out there, and my Net10 LG 620G GSM (T-Mobile sim) would not pick up a signal anywhere. Since the cell phone was absolutely critical to my work, I was beginning to feel like this trip would be a disaster. The local store said only Verizon worked in that area and they had 1 Net10 LG 100C in stock. Bought it, activated it and in less than 10 minutes I had a working cell phone.
First you need to find out which phones will work in your area.
16 January 2012
Summary: First you need to go to Tracfone.com and enter your zip code and then it will tell you which phones will work in your area. I only had 3 models to choose from. I got the LG 100C which was the most basic of the 3 since our main reason to use is in case of car trouble or to leave a simple message. It is a nice small size for carrying in purse or pocket and nice looking too. I wish it had a camera and was black instead of silver but otherwise it is fine.
Summary: Wanted a fairly small basic cell phone with easy to use controls and decent sized screen in a prepaid phone. This seemed to fit the bill. My hands are fairly large, so the size is good. I wish it had more features, but I do prefer simple cell phones, and it was only $0.99! What a bargain!
