  • Excerpt: This phone and tracfone have done well by me.  WIth tracfone i hardly have to pay for amazing service.  With this phone i get amazing reception and get to use Tracfone.  Tracfone and Kyocera have had a wonderful marriage if you ask me.  The 2 companies should partner up on some more great phone deals.

Excellent small phone without the fancy features

Matto, Phone Arena
4 August 2010
  • Excerpt: I got this phone last year from a friend of mine whom I used to carpool with to and from a previous job we had. She got herself a different phone, and gave me this Kyocera K126C. It is an excellent phone, and does not have any fancy features. It is a single piece phone; no flipping or sliding. The performance of the phone is terrific, and the call quality is sharp and clear.
  • Pros: Small and easy to carry and use. Calls are clear and sharp.
  • Cons: None

  • Excerpt: pros: -ok world clock -ok battery for the first 6 months CONS: -phone battery dies in about 3 hours of being on and 40 minutes of talk time about 5 months and 26 days of having it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GETTING THIS PHONE!!!! THE ONLY THING THATS GOOD IS IT DOES NOT HAVE ROAMING CHARGES.

CHEAP YET STURDY!

girlymandy, Phone Scoop
6 December 2009
  • Excerpt: I got this phone about a month ago and it has not disappointed me. I use this as a business phone and although I do like web and picture messaging and such, I have another phone for all of that. I use this phone for calling and texting and it gets the job done. Very simple and easy to use. If you are looking for a phone that does more than text and calls, this isn't for you. Get a phone that is suitable for your needs people. If you cant afford it, tough!!

Generally a basic phone without extras

Mattytaw, Phone Scoop
24 November 2009
  • Excerpt: This was my first TracFone back in 2009. A friend of mine had given it to me after she got herself a different phone. It worked great while I had it for about a year (I upgraded to an LG phone with a few more extras). This phone is a great one for people who just want something basic without a lot of fancy extras. Here are two downsides to this phone: 1. No Internet access. 2.

Worst Phone EVER!

littlemiracle9, Phone Scoop
17 August 2009
  • Excerpt: I've never had a phone that has caused as much hassels and problems that this phone did. I was just sent my 4th replacement phone and decided that its not worth the trouble and ordered an upgrade. The first problem I've experienced is the phone would keep on turning itself off and turning itself on randomly, then finally it wouldn't turn on at all.

Solid Performer at Low Price

Frederic A. Moritz, Phone Arena
16 December 2007
  • Excerpt: This is a solid "emergency phone," available through Tracfone, as the K126C. In the same price range the Motorola C139 (GSM) is much stronger on battery. This Kyocera is stronger on other features lacking in the C139. It has both voice activated dialing and a speaker. Plus a sophisticated multiple entry phone book extremely easy to use. Much depends on how much one wants a CDMA candy bar with wide roaming coverage.
