Kyocera Neo E1100 (MetroPCS)

PC Magazine
20 June 2009
  • Conclusion: With a free up-front price (after mail-in rebate) and MetroPCS plans ranging from $40 to $60 month including taxes and fees, the Kyocera Neo is one of the cheapest ways to own a cell phone in America. Sadly, the Neo's price is the best thing about it.
  • Pros: Stylish design. Good call quality. Best plan pricing in the industry.
  • Cons: Very poor battery life. Useless speakerphone. No music player or video recorder. Some odd usability quirks.

  • Summary: The Kyocera Neo E1100 isn't perfect, but it's a perfectly satisfying phone for making calls.
  • Pros: The Kyocera Neo E1100 has a simple, user-friendly design and functional features. Call quality is quite agreeable.
  • Cons: Kyocera Neo E1100's external display is too small. The call volume could be louder, and the speakerphone is unimpressive.
