MARBL K127 is the perfect phone if you want a basic phone that works well
24 October 2014
Summary: The Kyocera MARBL K127 is a basic flip phone meant for those who primarily use their phones for making and receiving calls and receiving texts. It isn't a camera phone, doesn't have a slide-out keyboard, or anything else - it's a simple phone. I bought this to replace a MARBL that I originally bought when they first came out and that suddenly developed an orange splotch in the middle of its screen when some pixels died.
Summary: Even though this phone is older it works perfectly for my honey. He's not tech smart and does not want to trade it in. We have purchased replacements on eBay really cheap. It doesn't have a camera which is a bummer. Overall he likes it.
Summary: Seeking replacement for Virgin phone to match a phone we already have. Phone arrived in original package, but was missing the back battery cover. Just covered with black duct tape, to avoid hassle of return drama. Phone works fine, Virgin was helpful in connecting phone to original plan.
Summary: Haven't yet activated it and changed my current account over to it (I bought it as a backup to my current phone, same model), but it arrived from overseas fully charged and it appears all functions work. For a simple phone for occasional use, this is perfect. With Virgin Mobile's automatic top-up plan, it costs me five dollars ($5) a month.
Summary: This is a good little general purpose flip phone that is getting hard to find. When the current one breaks, it's nice to have a spare ready. Broken ones are not worth trying to fix. These two were either "like new" or "re-conditioned". One of them looks a little beat up, but they both work O.K. It's probably the best general purpose phone that Kyocera made.
Summary: I bought this for my mother, who is more interested in being able to answer a call than send a text message. It's very basic, and if you're anything like my mother it's going to be just what you need.
Happiness is a Virgin Mobile Kyocera MARBL Cell Phone

Summary: After 5 years of use my old phone died, so I have bought new phones (2) to replace it. Since I wanted to keep the same number and account, I had Virgin Mobile switch the number to the new phone I am using now. It is an excellent and cheap plan and the phone is easy to use. I did not want to change to a more expensive plan or go through the effort of learning a new phone.
Summary: I was replacing a Marbl I already had which had gotten damaged, so I was very happy to find another one to replace it at such an excellent price. I like the phone, which is quite basic but gets the job done. It is lightweight and reliable. I also love Virgin Mobile - you can't beat the price and customer service. It arrived in good time too.
