Summary: Even with 8 megapixels the picture quality is not good. Pictures were grainy and the colors were way off. I played with the settings in all different lights and still couldn't get a great pic. The vibrating is also loud. I ended up returning the phone.
Summary: I let kids touch this phone, and they abuse it. It holds and it’s a phone I can replace for cheap. Therefore my recommendation is because it’s waterproof and damage proof to a certain degree. This is the biggest plus side of this phone.
Pros: Specs, performance, and reliablity
Cons: software is not optimized well with the specs.

Summary: The Kyocera Hydro Icon is a good waterproof phone for Boost Mobile customers with MUCH more internal memory for storing apps and games than other Boost phones in its price range. It has a nice 4.5 inch screen and music sounds great with good headphones. The "direct contact" sound system uses the phone's screen as a speaker. Press the screen firmly against your ear, and you can hear clearly even in noisy locations.

Summary: Before this phone I had to Samsung Galaxy Rush, it was garbage. One week after getting the Hydro Icon I dropped it from maybe 3 ft and parts of the screen wouldnt register finger movement anymore. So I got another one, kept the old ones battery to swap when the new one drains. The 2 main problems Ive been having are the the camera app fails to launch very frequently for apps like snapchat or whatever other ones.
Summary: I bought this pre-paid phone to use on my regular T-Mobile account because it was cheaper and less hassle than going through T-Mobile for an upgrade. Sort of. I bought this phone on a Sunday and by Friday, the phone memory was full. I had an SD card in the phone, but the phone would not read it for some reason. I took it to the T-Mobile store and they told me that I would continuously have storage issues with this phone.
Summary: This is a great little no contract phone for not a lot of money. I have been with virgin for many years and have never really had any complaints. The provider doesn't have the strongest signal in my area, but my boyfriend, who's on AT&T, only gets a few bars here too. For someone like me, who texts more that talks it works well.
Summary: I have owned the two predecessors to the Hydro Icon (The original Hydro and the Edge). I LOVE(D) the original Hydro. The thing is bullet proof. Many drops and throws, through the air, in water and on the ground, the ****ing thing still works! It was smaller in size, and less powerful than it's successors, but you can always count on it.
