Summary: I bought this phone because I lost my HTC One X and needed a phone quickly to tide me over until I got a replacement. For $100, I figured it wouldn't be anything great, but wouldn't be horrible either. I was wrong. The design is non-intuitive and flawed. The placement of the power button is such that it's almost impossible not to hit the volume button when you're trying to flash the phone from sleep.
Summary: This phone sucks! At first I thought it was cool, a water proof android for only $80.00!! but of course you get what you pay for. Its constantly going on mute in the middle of my phone calls. and always freezing up on me. I would rather pay a few extra bucks for something worth it. Wouldn't recommend anyone to by this unless all you do is text!
Summary: I have had this phone for 1 month. Before I purchased it, I did research, reviews on YouTube, amazon and this site. Almost everyone says it's a great phone. For $100, it better be. I thought it was gonna be the perfect upgrade from my Rumor Reflex. The hydro is a nice size with no front camera. The first week it was giving me problems. The screen would freeze constantly to where I would have to take the battery out.
Summary: Okay, the phone itself is decent for the price; my husband has it and loves it. The problem for me was that the screen won't stay "asleep" while I'm talking on it. I've been in the middle of a conversation and it will come unlocked and my cheek will start dialing numbers or switch over or even hang up. I even ordered a new phone to swap in case it was just the phone but that one did the same thing.
Summary: I have had two kyocera phones in the last 30 days and both of them have done the scrambled screen trick. When I am on a call and glance at the screen it turns black then scrambles and eventually shows back up.
Summary: Phon itelf is kinda cool. Have never owned a I phone. So the screen is nice. And the speed also. Heres the deal tho. Do not try to change the sd crd. The flip holder thing is so wimpy. That when and I mean when not if it breaks off. The dealer boost will not help you at all. Infact. I went to the dealer here in pasadena texas. And he tried to fix it with a staple from his staple gun. At that point I not only did not have a sd card. But the phone quit all together.
Summary: had this phone two days. on the second day while phone was riding in my pants pocket, I felt an unusual amount of heat on my leg. pulled phone out of pants pocket and the battery was extremely hot to the touch. Figured it was the combination of being in my pocket and the lack of ventilation. even after two hours of sitting on a desk the battery was still very hot and discharging rapidly.
HARDEST THING TO GET WORKING. BOOST NETWORK SUCKS IN STL, MO!
30 November 2012
Summary: I thought I was upgrading and getting a good deal but I found out that the phone has connection problems constantly, drops calls, has network problems and you can't get through to Boost to find or correct the problem. The phone requires a degree to work and don't even talk about adding apps. That is a joke. It is just too hard to handle. Boost has gotten worse as far as a network, connection and system assistance is concerned. Boost is the worst, next to AT&T.
