Good choice for basic phone you can't easily destroy!

Summary: This was purchased for my husband, the man that actually uses a cell phone as a phone! He is hard on phones, working outdoors a lot and not paying attention to things falling out of his pocket when he is busy working on a project, so the toughness of this product was a must for us! Love the phone, easy to use, he has dropped it a couple of times and it still works, holds a charge well (but bear in mind, he doesn't use it for gabbing, his calls are typically short and to...
Summary: After a month of two the phone screen will just stop and go black for no reason, you must take battery out for a minute and put it back in and turn on phone and it will be fine. Sometimes is says texts are sending 0/0 meaning not sending at all and you just have to cancel and retry till it works.
Summary: Needed a basic phone. This RUGGED phone was a fantastic choice. PROS Rugged, well-built. Great call quality. Easy UI. Decent speed. Relatively capable. Still being serviced by Kyocera! Has a camera. CONS Could be faster. Updates take a very long time, as they are NOT cumulative (you need ALL updates, one doesn't have all previous updates installed). Camera could be of higher quality, but the phone is old.
I would recommend the phone but not the service (Sprint).

Summary: Great phone. Little heavy but I was expecting that. Very durable. Sprint on the other hand the worse company signal ever. Previously was with U.S.Cellular which is the best cell company I was with but because of the sale to sprint I had to change. Now with Sprint I do not get any reception when I am at certain places.
If you're looking for a phone that will not die, this one is it!!!

Summary: I was looking for a no frills cell phone for my stepson. He was going through cellphones as if they were paper towels. This phone is as solid as a brick and weighs like one, too. It's doing a great job of surviving. It does a fantastic job of pulling in signals and voice quality is also very good. I've even found a way to add ringtones to it. I personally love it!
