Summary: This handset alone cost me $25/mo, for how long it lasted. Total ripoff.
Pros: A fair mix of equipment, when it works.
Cons: Six months in, it won't take a recharge anymore. Huawei stands behind nothing, their policy only covers devices sold and returned in SINGAPORE. Apparently, consumer goods stop being genuine and warrantied once they touch a boat.
Summary: I bought this phone since I didn't want to upgrade my AT&T account and pay $$$$ for data plan. I put in my SIM card and phone was ready to use. However, after just 32 days, my phone wouldn't take a charge. I left my phone charging for 30 hours and it still showed 1% charged.
Pros: -Newegg's customer service -phone was easy to use
Cons: -the phone wouldn't take a charge after just 32 days of ownership -screen size small; hard to text or use touchscreen keyboard (I've got small fingers)
Four hour battery!! Android OS - Good, Battery - The Worst
Scott S., Newegg
24 May 2011
Summary: I will try calling manufacturer, but not optomistic.
Pros: Android OS, reasonable price, good features (compass, GPS, FM tuner)
Cons: Battery lasts only four hours!!! Seriously, I need to take my charger with me just to make a call. I've only had phone 3-months, and this battery is the biggest downfall of this phone. I would give the phone higher marks if the battery could last longer.
