Good phone for price

app dev, Amazon
11 April 2014
  • Summary: this is a great phone, I'm a developer and we use this for testing apps, its a great little phone, the touch can sometimes be unresponsive, but for the money it packed with a lot of gear - compass, accelerometer, gps, prolixity and the camera is ok, not the best. Updates are an issue, the Huawei website is well, in Chinese, and difficult to get the correct ROM updates.

Good mobile phone

George, Amazon
28 August 2013
  • Summary: Very good value for the money. It's a shame it hasn't got the OS Android 4 !!! Easy to set up, already unlocked and it was delivered quicker than said. I bought it to replace a Samsung Galaxy Note N700 due being too big and the Huawei U8860 Honor is up for the challenge.

Smarter than me

  • Summary: OK first off I don't like Smartphones, they are all a compromise one way or the other and more than that I detest the elitest drivel that is spoken about them. I have to use one and as such this 'phone is pretty slick, the screens are smooth and it all works great. I have moved to this from an HTC One Desire costing much more but delivering much less IMHO. Couldn't live with the HTC and after 7 months use it had to go.

Pricining can be better

Ansi, flipkart.com
12 April 2013
  • Summary: The price 19,990 is too high for this brand. At this price the other better options are Sony Neo V, LG Optimus, Samsung galaxy S1. Compared to Samsung. I donno wat huwaei think about themselves, they are yet to establish as a brand in India and they want to compete with high end phones from Samsung, Sony and LG. I agree the phone spec is good and the latest, but its coming from a new brand (atleast in india), where sales after service, support etc are yet to be stablized.

The Pricing is disappointing

Bobins, flipkart.com
12 April 2013
  • Summary: when this phone was introduced they said that the price will be less than 15k and I was waiting for this to be available in India for the past three months. But 20k for a brand like Huawei is a little too much (according to me any way) but I still love the specs of this phone. I am going to wait some more time to see if the price drops.

Honor

Dabbang%20Diwa, flipkart.com
12 April 2013
  • Summary: I also brought Huawei Honor and simply amazed by some features, and You all are right folks brand is not popular, but you know i was surprised to know by shopkeeper that this is the same brand behind Tata sky, Tata photon and many other superlative devices. at least i am happy that someone is here who can give tough fight to Samsung as earlier i was using Galaxy S+ priced at 22k and Honor is actually a better product at a lesser price. Kudos Huawei for Honor...

A pricing defect?

Sabeer Sulaiman, flipkart.com
12 April 2013
  • Summary: No, priced accurately for the specs it provides. It doesn't always matter that the company is new or old. Only thing that matters is build quality. Only problem I found is that the chip set is not dual core. Although we always have a better choice. I suggest Huawei Ascend P1s instead of this one. Remember Huawei is new to India but is a well experienced company, and brings competition to the smartphone market. Recommended.

affordable and pretty stable

David Redondo Garcia, Amazon
31 January 2013
  • Summary: I like it as it is fast on procesing and covers most of the functions needed for an smartphone, without having to pay for a brand name as Apple/Samsung.. Everything works fine, maybe the radio could be improved but overall a good piece of technology.
