Excerpt: This is my 1st smartphone, but 2 of my kids and my wife are Apple slaves, so i am able to asses this phone against a known benchmark. My youngest 2 kids have htc's, so all in all 3 Apple and 3 Android phone house. My cheap Ascend 1 was able to beat Iphone 4 download and general use speeds, but since the kids now have iphone 5's i am now relegated to 3rd place. This phone is a great size, easy to use, generally does whats asked with a 2 day battery life.
Cons: It overheats. Battery takes forever to charge and loses charge in half a day. Camera is poor as is the music player. OS overloads easily, necessitating download of an app killer to control what auto loads on the phone. otherwise sys needs soft reset.
Summary: Make this straight forward and simple... Pros ---- + Great battery life + Display + Thin + Lightweight + Loud clear speaker for music and calls + Fast + Great specifications Cons ---- - Poor audio quality/loudness - Random reboot (ICS) - Camera quality poor - Jelly Bean update* *Huawei announced Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update but nothing has been confirmed or made clear yet.
Summary: I got this phone through my provider, not on here, but I think it deserves a good review anyway. People need to be aware that the Samsung Galaxy and iPhone aren't the only smartphones out there. I went into my local phone shop and picked the P1 after looking at and testing several phones. I instantly really liked it.
Summary: In my opinion(unlike other users)the phone does not feel cheap, no cheaper than Galaxy S 1,2,3 etc It is fast and slim, the only problem I found annoying is the camera-it takes really very average pictures which surprised me because I used to take better pictures with 5mp camera phones even with Huawei own Ascend G300.Otherwise I think it is a great value for money, especially now when the price has gone down a bit.My favourite feature is sound, it is really great,...
Pros: great screen, faster than some of more expencive brands, slim, fantastic sound quality
