Huawei Ascend G300

  • Summary: "Wow! Best phone I've ever had. I thought there must be a catch having such a good spec, plus fast as an iPhone 4 for just £100. Ten months on & its been 100% reliable, battery life is great, I often get 3 days of moderate use. After a smooth update to ICS its even better. Apps run smoothly & the 4" screen has just the right sensitivity. The solid build including Gorilla Glass has survived some nasty falls without a scratch.

dfvt07, Phone Arena
15 June 2012
  • Excerpt: It isn´t the best smartphone but it gets the job done. If you won't spend much money in a smartphone for the price this phone is awesome. But if you are a powerfull user you maybe will need to make other choice.
  • Pros: Price
  • Cons: Single core

Baterry 1500mah in europe.

Good While It Lasts...

robinbrum, Amazon
16 February 2014
  • Summary: On many levels, this phone offers good value for money and punches above its weight. However the longer you have it and the more you try to do with it, the more its shortcomings become apparent. I have had it 18 months and have long since fallen out of love with it. One of the biggest problems is the internal storage issue which really limits the amount of apps you can run and download on the device.

An unsung bargain - and the alarm wakes the phone!

J. Harrison, Amazon
22 January 2014
  • Summary: Firstly, the reason for the Alarm in the title is that since getting a Moto G - and sending it back, and now a Samsung SIII ... that very annoyingly, other Androids don't appear to possess the ability to turn back on and then sound the alarm. This oh, so very simple process seems to not bother oodles of people, but it really bothers me! Anyway, this phone does it right.

  • Excerpt: "I bought this as my I-phone 4 was playing up as a replacement until my contract expired . I paid £95 from Vodafone on a pay as you go and inserted my contract Sim. The phone is really good looking and is Slim with a silver and white casing . the rear Battery/Sim cover is really easy to remove and replace and feels like quality when handling . The screen is large and covers the entire front of the phone making it appear sleeker . The pone is operated ...
  • Pros: Cost  -  very good value, looks and feels great .
  • Cons: Poor camera , poor sound

A nice device.

Dr. G. N. Hone, Amazon
9 July 2013
  • Summary: I ordered this after my problems with a used Apple iphone 3GS. True it came locked to one service provider, but I had already identified an unlocking service. So, charge the battery, enter the unlock code and now I have a smartphone that runs off the SIM that I want, and the few bits of the old service provider's customisation are no problem. The wi-fi works first time.

great value for money

guiriman, Amazon
25 June 2013
  • Summary: first of all, unlike it says in the description, my g300 came already updated to icecream sandwich 4.0.3 which makes it even better value for money. phone runs smoothly with hardly any drag. the only thing negative could be the battery which doesnt always get me through the day if i use it a lot. but it does charge-up very fast. 4 stars well deserved.
