The worst nightmare when you buy a smartphone
9 August 2013
Summary: This is my worse nightmare. I bought it on Amazon, arrive a few days later. I charge the phone, start it, everything seems ok. Very slow phone but ok. Am hour later, I receive an update from HTC. Gladly, I update the phone. Shutdown the phone, restart it and then nothing. It tries to boot up but cannot, no display, nothing. IT is not a phone anymore, just a piece of dead hardware.
Summary: I got one of this phones around 6 month ago. I like how this phone looks, but now I hate by the way it works. This phone mega slow and it's not comfortable for texting. The Internet and apps often not working. I feel like I just waste my money because now I have to look for something else.
Summary: Item came on time and that was impressive. packaging was superb. Upon opening the box everything was in. However the phone wasnt turning on so we decided to charge with the assumption that the battery has run down. Yet upon charging, there is still no indicator it is even charging and the phone still doesnt turn on. In summary I HAVE SCHEDULED A RETURN. Waiting for UPS Driver to pick up from my Aunties home as stated by Amazon.
Summary: Slowest joke of a phone ive ever had. HTC have got some cheek releasing this as a smartphone imo its a very stupid phone. At full battery it works quite well, then all of a sudden it will hit limp mode at 70% battery and you cant even type a text message without stressing yourself out.
Excerpt: Over the past two years, I have had two of these phones and after about six months, both will only work on speaker. The batter life is low. After about seven months, the battery refuses to charge. My daughter had one, and we found out that it "attracts" humidity which gets into the batter compartment and causes the battery to swell, and malfunctioned the phone. So, out of three phones, I have had no luck with any of them.
Pros: large screen, easy to see keypad
Cons: low battery life, only works with speakerphone
Summary: Bluetooth was broken, camera had significant delays in taking any photo. Don't know if that's just product performance, or defect. White powder falling out of earpiece. Packaging was ghetto - clearly not original packaging; the one-page instruction manual was a bad photocopy or print-out and it looked like whatever printed it was running out of toner.
