Summary: As the title suggests, I consider this Smartphone to be a good work horse. A previous poster listed a few features on this device, I've expanded some of the detail on that and added some other info. * Tether as a modem - very helpful and less expensive than buying a standalone aircard.
Not a bad device, still does a few things that an iPhone cannot, 2 years later

Summary: I just upgraded to an iPhone. I had the tilt device for two years, it was a good phone. I enjoyed being on the 3G network. I also used it to tether as a modem for my laptop, no issues there, great for visiting clients at Starbucks and not having to pay for internet.
Excerpt: The TyTnII is on of the best mobiles around, reliable. It's fast though it can slowdown when many apps are running. One of its bad things is the hand free which is terrible. Slide feature is beautiful with QWERTY. One will find endless applications on the net.
Pros: many features, still pictures are pefect, sound is great, expandable memory, gps
Cons: handsfree is awful, moving pictures are aweful and out of focus, no flash, no radio
Excerpt: This device is good, yes. But could be so much better if HTC would have put the correct graphics drivers in it. I like the device and have fully custimized it. Stock this device is practicly un usable. I have no idea how this device got a 9.8.
Excerpt: PROs: GPS and WiFi features work great. The tilting was a good idea, it's convenient. Can be charged from a PC. Uses standard USB connector. CONs: The weight. It IS heavy. My hand hurts after an hour of using. It need an adapter to plug in head phones.
Excerpt: Having been a PDA user for almost 10 years, picking up the Tilt was a no brainer. Wanting to intergrate a phone & PDA, the Tilt was the choice I made. Purchased in Oct 07, no real issues. A bit lighter than my old PDA, but a lot heavier than my old cell phone (W810i).
Excerpt: This phone has a nice feature set, buttons hold up pretty well. The QWERTY keypad is very spacious and intuitive. The OS runs pretty well, doesn't freeze up all of the time, like most WM smartphones I've used. Its got some nice productivity features that would please business users.
