Mother board gone with in a year

Shishir, Amazon
21 July 2011
  • Summary: Initially phone looked very good but very soon it became very very slow. It keep on disconnecting calls and going in standby while i was talking to someone. Seems its a bug. Yesterday, it got switched off because of battery drained out and never got started. On showing it to customer care center, they said that its warranty is void and mother board is dead, need a replacement. I bought it only 10 months back.

  • Summary: This is the slowest phone i've ever owned it's like going back to dial-up days It's non-responsive and it blocks occasionally . I've had it for a little over two months and it crashed on me Spoke to seller and they were not much help Told me to call HTC Repair center and they told me that the phone is from the UK and there's nothing we can do about it so basically I have a $200 piece of garbage Don't let this happen to you stay away from this company Because they pretty...

Be thankful for other choices.

Haef, Amazon
5 November 2010
  • Summary: Take the worst qualities of a touch-screen GUI interface, mix it up with the half-baked Windows Mobile OS ("We've condensed everything loathsome about Windows into a tiny box on your hip!"), put it in an under-powered package, and you've got this phone! Controls that are slow to respond to the touch*, interface elements that make almost no sense, a myriad of options and other junk to get in the way, a gawdawful web browsing experience, texting with a toothpick, a battery...

On #5

tarch, Phone Scoop
27 September 2009
  • Excerpt: First of all, I actually like this phone. The form factor, screen and material are very good. I've been happy without a physical keyboard for a while. However, I am going on phone #5. I've had 4 of these fail on me, all due to touchscreen issues. I have also had issues with the dialer pulling random numbers from my contacts instead of numbers I punch in. I have been blown away that Sprint keeps sending out these lemons.

HTC 6900

  • Excerpt: Honestly; This is the worst phone I ever dealt with. Phone freezes. Battery won't last more than Half a day. Gets very hot when you talk on it. I changed the battery twice on it and still freezes on me. I took it back to Sprint and they won't even want to look at it. I fully charge it then when I turn the power on , nothing happens. This is a worthless phone.....I won't recommend it at all.

Nothing Redeeming

susbarefoot, Phone Scoop
14 December 2007
  • Excerpt: When I found the Touch on Sprint's website, I was stoked that the phone had all of the features I use without a big monthly fee or carrier change. When I used the phone I was completely disappointed because the phone didn't actually work. Literally, the phone would stop responding. I couldn't even get into a phone mode to make a call. I restarted the device six times before getting it would stop hanging on a simple function like text message or phone call.

What a nightmare

KenJan, Phone Scoop
13 December 2007
  • Excerpt: Pros: Worked out of the box but still learning how to use all the features. Nice voice speed dial feature. Cons: I bought two of these about two weeks apart. The first had to be reset twice by the time I received the second it had to be reset a few more times. I thought it was just that version of phone. The second one for myself has had to be reset several times. We are mixed weather to send them back or keep them. They just feel soo nice.
