The HTC Fuze is not a bad phone overall, it will take most users quite a bit to get accustomed to the new interface and the lack of buttons, the Fuze is meant to be navigated with the fingers primarily, and for those of us that like buttons and navigation pads, we’re out of luck. The good part is of course the large, beautiful screen, more memory and a fast processor, all of this combined makes for a great phone. Read more

Touch Pro – the name clearly hints that we are dealing with a phone, created for work. The HTC model with the richest functionality is based on the popular Touch Diamond, but adds some to the specifications, sports a hardware QWERTY and is larger of course. It is the successor of the Tilt and targets the QWERTY dependent audience. The very box shows the desire of the leading Windows Mobile manufacturer to raise the bar even higher. Read more

With its glossy lacquered finish, the HTC Fuze is one of AT&T's more stylish smartphones. Tipping the scales at 5.8 ounces, it packs a 3G radio, touch screen display, built-in Wi-Fi, and a full QWERTY keyboard. Despite its design and formidable feature list, however, this $299 smartphone suffers from some notable hardware and software flaws. Read more

Perhaps an unlocked phone would be more useful but ATT sold me this problematic phone and didn't do anything to compensate for its problems. When texting this phone would often crash and to get it running again I had to REMOVE the battery. This would happen to me more than daily. I even brought it to the store, they replaced the device, still happened even when I removed the over priced unusable apps. Read more or see product

HTC Touch Pro / Fuze

The HTC Fuze comes with Windows Mobile 6.1. It features a 3.2 megapixel camera. It has almost the same features as the Touch Pro. It has the same 2.8-inch touch screen as the Touch Pro and that comes with a 262,000 color output and 640x480-pixel resolution. It also features the HTC TouchFLO 3D interface. The HTC Touch Fuze is the Touch Pro version that AT&T released for their subscribers. This tri-band HSDPA/UMTS smartphone includes AT&T’s mixture of multimedia and voice services like push to talk and AT&T Video. It measures 4 inches (H) x 2 inches (W) x 0.7 inch (D) and weights at 5.8 ounces. A two-year contract comes with this phone from AT&T.

Features

A couple of differences between the Touch Pro and this one, based from its outer looks, would be the Fuze casing is fully in black. Its back cover is just as on the Touch Diamond. It also has a QWERTY keyboard and a VGA touch screen. For connections, there are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and HSDPA support. This HTC smartphone is for AT&T business customers as it offers many features that will suit them. To use the phone now, at the bottom of the screen is where you will find a toolbar. That toolbar would enable you to scroll from left to right and open up any application that you want. Different theme and images are there for you to personalize your Today screen. On the left side of the phone is where the volume rocker and push-to-talk button is found then on top of the phone is where the power button is located. The 3.2-megapixel camera is included with flash. There’s a built-in accelerometer whereby it helps you to automatically switch the screen view when rotating the Fuze, as in, it will automatically change from portrait to landscape mode depending on the respective position that you are holding it to. It has a different layout from the Touch Pro like symbols are on the top row of keys and the number buttons are located with the letter keys. Colors are what show the difference between them. Shortcuts to well-known applications are featured such as calendar, e-mail, and the Web. On the smartphone, there’s a standard navigation array just below the screen. Also found there are the Talk and End keys, a Home shortcut, a back button, and a directional keypad with a center select button.
