Excerpt: Been using this handset for a year now. Pretty much has every feature you could ask for in a handset, except for a lack of a physical keyboard (but having that would have probably taken away from the compact form factor). The stock Sprint ROM is usable, but could use some improvement. Unlocked the handset and loaded custom ROMs and settings, now this is way more usable.
Pros: Great screen, Wonderful functionality, Nice and compact, Tweakability (if that's a word), Sleek looking handset (in my opinion at least)
Cons: Battery life (with stock ROM), No physical keyboard (but I don't think they could fit one and retain the compactness), No micro SD slot, No camera flash
Excerpt: I got my Diamond about a month ago. No huge issues, battery life is quite a pain but other than that the only other issue that I have is that when I use the WiFi and have the phone on the charger (which, of course, is necessary), it can get really hot and cease charging. The interface is a little slow, but still nice. A decent phone on the outside, the software that people can make for Windows Mobile phones is amazing, and it gets a nice signal in most places.
Pros: Interface, WiFi, Virtual keyboard has nice size keys, easy to type with, Internet loads very quickly, Windows Mobile 6.1
Cons: Battery life is TERRIBLE, Overheats quickly, Windows Mobile 6.1 (haha)
Excerpt: I hate the maroon back. I didn't know they'd replaced the pretty back when I ordered. The front is still sleek, but the back really ruins it for me. Battery life is awful, as with all HTCs. I barely use it during the day and it's just about zapped on my drive home. Otherwise, it's a kickass phone.
Excerpt: when i was in the market to buy a new phone i almost went with the previous version of the touch diamond, but decided to wait for the new one to come out. i had anticipated this phone for quite some time and when i finally was able to purchase it i was a little disappointed. it can be slow at times, the battery life is terrible, and without configuring the settings the buttons can be easily pressed with the slightest touch of your cheek.
Pros: screen resolution, features and capabilities, weather function
Cons: battery life, tiny buttons, touch sensitivity, can only use one program at a time or else it will freeze
Summary: Sure that HTC and specially Touch Diamond,is a great pocket COMPUTER ... it almost has the great features of iPhone(no doubt not the inventor!! and just the copier) and even MORE capabilities and management systems ... hmm, don't forget to mention it's suitable weight and size(iPhone is somehow bigger than normal!!
Excerpt: This phone is my first smartphone although I had a chance to play with Iphone a lot since my brother has it. To be honest, I'm more dissapointed than I am satisfied. The worst thing about this phone is the battery I think. Without changing any settings, the battery lasted less than 10 hours which dissapointed me so much. Another thing is the speaker. The speaker is quite crappy, the sound quality is bad and the volume is low too.
Pros: -the auto focus camera (I like the quality of it) but no flash, -screen resolution, -interface, -design of the phone, -mp3 player (the sound quality is good)
Cons: -battery life, -more languages (there is only english in mine), -screen size (not so small but when compared to Iphone, it is smaller), -touchflo response (I think iphone's touch response is faster), -games (I don't know where to download games free like iphone), -battery case (attracts finger prints much), -no external storage and internal storage is only 4GB, -the buttons are kind of hard to press when holding with one hand, -no 3.5mm headphone jack, -no recording c...
Excerpt: Pros: Phone is very fast, fastest phone I have used yet; interface wise. Customization of the phone is fantastic. You're able to download an app which will allow you to text message sideways like all the other touch screen phones on the market, a task manager to determine how many resources your phone is using (to conserve battery life), windows is windows, the possibilites are endless.
Summary: I run my business on apple and I swear by it. However, when I grabbed the new i-phone it didn't live up to the hype. I unfortunately had to leave the apple bubble I was living in and grab the new HTC diamond. It’s quite possibly the best smart phone I have come across. Every phone has it faults I agree, in the diamonds case these faults fall far from actually affecting its advertised functionality.
