Excerpt: I had this phone for a little over a year. I had problems early on with the phone becoming non-responsive and windows screen freezes. I wanted to be able to use voice dialing but it's unrealiable. This phone seems to have a mind of it's own. It frequently turns programs on by itself draining the battery. It occasionally makes calls at random. The phone is clunky and uncomfortable in the hand.
Excerpt: This was my first smartphone. When I got the HTC Touch Diamond I was excited because I liked the screen. But that's where the love ended. It was extremely touch sensitive, so I kept hanging up on everyone by sitting my phone down. I couldn't get used to texting on a touch screen keyboard. It never dialed the right numbers because the touch screen was so sensitive. The voice prompt would come on at random times and it wouldn't turn off.
Excerpt: I bought this phone back in September of 2006. I was excited to get a PDA and I was more excited when I found out that this phone offered WiFi (that is why I went with it instead of paying for the extra service with a Blackberry). I went on different websites and saw that, for the most part, it got good reviews.
Excerpt: Cons: Screen scratches VERY easily potentially compromising return of phone. Battery life is terrible. They should sell it with a spare battery and extra chargers, one for every place you spend time regularly. Virtual keyboard is slow, slow, slow. Software is the opposite of intuitive. If you want to memorize a manual, this software may be for you. However, things that I expect to be on a menu simply are not there. It is a maze.
The only thing Hot about this phone is the Battery!

Excerpt: I have two major complaints about this phone: 1. Battery Life is terrible Battery gets very very hot 2. Drops calls frequently in places I never drop calls with Sprint This phone is all flash and no substance. The touch screen works poorly when emailing &/or texting. If you use your phone to talk or text/email on it it will not work well. I have had several Sprint Phones & never get dropped like I do on this phone.
Excerpt: This would be a great phone if it wasn't for Windows Mobile under the hood. I'm a techie and work in PC and Mac worlds, although I prefer Mac. There hasn't been a piece of hardware I couldn't figure out in a flew minutes until I met HTC Diamond running Windows Mobile. I am utterly frustrated. Even the most straight forward processes are difficult, if not impossible. The phone gets confused and bogged down.
