Modern look and neat programs, but not exactly user-friendly.

  • Excerpt: It slides up for a full qwerty style keyboard, the sound quality is great, the style and look of the background is wonderful... but when it comes to using it, it isn't all that user-friendly. To use your own songs from a micro SD card you have to go through the hassle of copying and pasting and the prefrences for text messages have to be changed everytime you write one, you can't just set it all up once.

The Shadow is an ok phone.....Not really worth the price!!!

  • Excerpt: The Tmobile Shodow is a pretty good phone, it does what it needs to but it could be a little better for what they are charging people for it. I've had it since August of this year and I have already had to replace it. The text message application is the first to go haywire. Like now I am getting my text messages with the wrong time. It will also freeze on you and lock up plenty of times during the day. Reviewer is an employee or otherwise affiliated with the brand.

The Shadow is not bad for a T-mobile cell phone.

  • Excerpt: The Shadow is a pretty handy cell phone.  The only part that takes some getting used to is the keyboard.  If you're like me and have had many different phones and have always been texting all day everyday the keyboard is a pain at first.  Unlike most other cell phones the keyboard on the shadow is set up like a computer keyboard.  Since slowly breaking the habits of the past I can now slowly text but I'm getting faster.

HTC Shadow Cell Phone makes a crash landing

  • Excerpt: HTC "Smart Phone" should be a smarter cell phone. This phone is nothing but a pain in my butt!!! The only reason i got it, was because at Tmobile they a bunch of cell phones where you have to pay an extra fee each month just for having it, even if you didnt want those extra features, or cell phones with the regular number keys, or basically cheap phones. I must have the qwerty keyboard on my phone, since thats what ive gotten used to, and i absolutely love and prefer.

Perfect system, however e-z to break.

  • Summary: Phone features are great, e-z to use and once you start using it it's hard to go back to non-smart phone. My purchase was brand new in box, however 90 days later it had a problem and we had to replace - when you slide it open it shuts down the phone. My guess something wrong with internal wire in the sliding part, it happens, i guess..

  • Summary: The features on the phone are quite slow. It is not good for internet use but for texting and using the music feature. The camera is not in good quality. This phone is only good for a temporary phone.

Great phone when it works

doremonz, Ebay
21 January 2011
  • Summary: Prior to Purchase I originally had a HTC S1+ but, like many other touch screen phones, the touch screen quit working and thus rendered the phone useless. I decided I didn't want another touch screen phone. I looked at some other phones and I liked the Windows features of the S1+ so I wanted a Windows phone. I wanted a phone that gives me my email and lets me open the occassional MS Office document.

Normal Everyday Phone, Nothing Fancy

somethingwick3d, Ebay

  • Summary: The Shadow 2 may look a bit different, but the insed are the same as the first Shadow that HTC brought out. If you can find one for around $50 it's worth it, but I wouldn't spend anymore. Menus are annoying and takes time to get to all your settings. Ringers have issues with playing the entire song before it actually stops when receiving a call, even after you have already answered. i give it a 6 out of 10.

Expected better, has some flaws

lanicia123, Ebay

  • Summary: I was really excited to get this phone because of the WI-FI capability and that it has Windows 6. But I'm finding that without the manual, configuring connections and email isn't as simple as I thought and I can't even connect to my home wireless internet. Also, the phone tends to freeze up sometimes which is frustrating. The pictures aren't that great, a little fuzzy. I figured a "smartphone" would have a higher mega-pixel than 2.
