Overall $42 for this product is worth it, for what I need it for.

  • Summary: This phone does its basic function as a phone, but being a smartphone it is surprisingly limited on what it can/can't do. As a first time purchaser of a smart phone, i like its overall layout and physical look, but not the same as its system design. The menu's are very hard to navigate, you can only add limited details on contact (only 1# & name), only has 2 alarms, and a very limited functioning tracking ball with right/left clicks almost hard to figure out.

Think of it as a relief pitcher or spare tire!

  • Summary: Even though phones are sort of old news within a 6 month time spand, the HTC Dash is likeable, does the basics well, not too flashy, no touch screen and such. Since no cell phone company has all the airwaves covered it's good to have a secondary one on hand. Since this phone is unlocked one can use it on several competing networks. So essentially you make the call! This phone has wi-fi and 3g capabilities which allows the user some connection options.

Use caution when buying this phone

merrianns, Ebay

  • Summary: This was probably not the right phone for me, but I'm limited to Tmobile due to poor cell reception in my neighborhood. I'm most disappointed about the back cover. It is literally impossible to remove by a person with a normal size hand. I finally ended up taking it to the store to open for me so I could insert the battery and my sim. The instructions say to insert your fingernail in the notched cover release on the bottom of the phone and lift it up and away.

Developers need to let non-techi's test products!

thankuagain, Ebay

  • Summary: I use T Mobile (had a Samsung T919 Behold) replaced twice in 6 months because of phone problems then stepped up to a new myTouch 3G Android. WHY DON'T SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS LET NON-TECHY PEOPLE TEST PHONES BEFORE THEY MASS PRODUCE THEM???????????????????? Or at least make a thorough list of all the features any one phone should provide before production! They seem to be as sad as politicians!
