Summary: I was debating between this phone, the Sensation and the Sensation XL. I wasn't sure I wanted a white phone so I didn't go for the XL, the Sensation is supposed to have a slower processor and XE looks consistent and comes with Dre head phones so I chose this phone once I saw how the desktop looked. You see I'm coming from a Blackberry Torch 2 so my eyes ache for a big screen, better browsing and a better graphical experience to say the least.
Summary: This phone is wonderful! This phone is everything the product information said it would be! It came on time and it was packaged just like if you had purchased it in a store. The only flaw is that it will not move from the Edge to the 3g or H network of my carrier. My research on the issue has led me to the realization that it is something in the phone and not on my carrier's end. Given it's super fast processor, however you hardly notice it.
Summary: Just received the phone and have not used it enough yet to review everything. The phone itself should be great, had good reviews on the web. I gave it four stars because of these things: 1- It's made in china. 2- You need to have nails to open the battery cover. You need to push and hold down the release then pull off the cover using other finger's nail. I hate that 3- It does not have US English. 4- It's not a US version neither a European version.
Summary: "The Desire HD was my previous phone and this is definitely an upgrade, front facing camera and more importantly the dual core 1.5ghz processor, the upgrade gingerbread also looks great, I was torn between the sensation and the galaxy nexus but having held the galaxy nexus thought is had a inferior build even though the thought of ice cream sandwich was appealing the sensation won on reliable stable, bigger camera and good looks ( flash of red for the beats audio...
Summary: It's a very good phone with Android OS. It's not so simple to use, but before it I'd never use Android OS. "+": 1. Good look. 2. Well camera (but not so good as in Nokia N8). 3. Andoid OS with hundreed's apps in market. 4. Bright display with optimal resolution. 5. Black and red colors looks better than in original Sensation. "-": 1. Low battery capacity.
Summary: this phone is known to be one of the best phone on the market and it truly is.. using this multimedia packed phone with its amazing 1.5 dual core processor it is smooth and easy to use... the music quality is unbelievable and its camera and 1080p HD recording is amazing so far i haven't encountered a problem so i give this a 5/5
Excerpt: Okay, this is a decent handset, it has nothing to write home about or brag about. Below are my three main disappointments: First, it has Android 2.3 with HTC Sense 3.0, I think 3.0 is very refined, good and runs decently. However, my unit reboots from time to time, only happened twice, but was sufficiently enough to scare me.
Pros: Good display, Good web browsing experience, Good multimedia experience, Beats by Dr. Dre heaset performs better than any other headsets on the market that comes with the handset, HTC Sense 3.0 experience is refined, very good looking, Build quality is decent
Cons: Sub-par battery life, Not top-notch quality camera and camcorder, UI runs sluggish at best, Call quality is average at best, Reception is an issue sometimes

Excerpt: I was really looking forward to this phone when it came out. I owned an HTC Desire and pretty much loved that one - I had it for over a year before moving to the Sensation XE. Now within less than 2 months of use, I'm thinking of moving on the Galaxy Nexus. Pros: - The phone, in general, is pretty smooth and fast. - The build quality is quite nice. - The display is crisp and a pleasure to view. - The Beats headphones and the sound improvements are quite decent.
