Excerpt: This is a pretty decent phone. The keyboard is nice to have. Could have been better without the small round pop up type pads but, hey, it's better than an on-screen keyboard to me. Slider and landscape feature are nice. Pretty easy to navigate and I appreciate the revision A they upgraded it to.
Pros: Keyboard, Ease of Use, RevA, Freeze Ups are infrequent
Cons: Limited amount of email accounts, Battery Life
Excerpt: I previously owned the MotoQ, which I loved, but accidently drowned. Did you know cell phones don't swim?? Who knew! Anyway, this phone was a "free" upgrade for me. I have had no problems with it.
Pros: Great size, style. Great sound, reception. All-over a great buy!
Excerpt: had phone for 2 weeks - had treo windows for prior 2 1/2 yrs. Pro's - size good, voice quality good, speed - Really GOOD, capabilities - all good Con's - BATTERY - terrible. This thing is a vampire for batteries. With Very little use , it is at 50% after 12-14 hrs. Can't take on road w/o charger.
Excerpt: I have had them all. My company pays for my phones so I get to try them all out and return them at no cost to me. So, I have had or tried the Samsung i700, i730, Treo 700w and wx, Motorola Q, Q9m, XV6800 and now the SMT5800.
Excerpt: SMT5800 – Verizon Wireless I’ve had my phone for over a week. Before I get to my review I just want to say that it is not the exact phone in the pictures above but, it’s really close. The keys on the front have been changed a little.
Excerpt: This phone is an excellent phone. As stated in reviews below it's more like a Phone with smart phone capabilities and not a PDA with the phone capabilities. The call quality on this version is great (VZW Albuquerque, NM).
Excerpt: The phone itself is pretty darn good. An advancement for Qwest to carry this phone from previous selections. I have had the phone for a short amount of time and I am pleased with the performance.
Excerpt: Love this phone it looks way bigger than it actually is it does everything that my old typhoon does and more I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants a smart phone on the cdma network!!!! much better than the Q
