  • Summary: I usually am so busy I have not had time to type out a review and I am too slow and not so good at typing but I have to respond to let other potential customers know if they are thinking of buying from this seller, "Tech World NY". I ordered this phone because I believed, and that's what was advertised, as being brand new. To the seller, If you are going to advertise or put it out on Amazon that the product is brand new you better make sure IT'S BRAND NEW!

Not Verizon's Best Phone That They Ever Made

bookbabi, CNET
17 June 2014
  • Summary: Do not wast your money. While the phone looks nice and fits easily into your pocket there are some major problems that just can't be over looked. My biggest issue with the phone is that the batter life is very poor; I would let it charge all night and only get a few hours out of it the next day, even when i barely use the internet or even the phone itself. Drives me crazy to have to keep charging it.
  • Pros: Good screen quality, came with headphones, easy to use
  • Cons: very poor battery life, screen turns black when using it, freezes

Goodbye and Good Riddance

Paul R., Amazon
28 January 2014
  • Summary: Got this phone in early 2012, mainly b/c it had an comparatively large (4.3") LCD screen rather than AMOLED and a fast processor for the time (1.5 GHz dual-core). Right out of the box, battery life was abysmal. Believe me, I did everything I could to minimize battery life w/settings and installing Juice Defender Plus. That meant not having full functionality when the phone was on.

Stay away from this phone!!!

  • Summary: This phone has some nice features (camera, screen) and finally (after waiting 9 months) got the Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade... but the phone is soooo 2011. It will not get the Jelly Bean upgrade, battery dies quickly, is very bulky in your pocket, gets hot in your pocket for no apparent reason (even without runaway apps running), and the whole Beats audio thing is overrated (only works with music app too).
  • Pros: HD screen, 4G LTE
  • Cons: Very bad battery life, frequently gets HOT, no Jelly Bean upgrade, Beats audio overrated with cheap earbuds, and did I say poor battery life? Who wants a phone that you're reluctant to use because the battery will die... defeats the whole purpose!!!

Beautiful design and interface but not dependable.

  • Summary: I had expected so much from this phone and most of the time it delivered. It is one of the best on the market but its dependability has made me rate this phone much lower than it would otherwise deserve. I would recommend this to tech-savvy people with a lot of time on their hands and that don't rely on their phone for business use or for storage of important data.
  • Pros: Beats Audio is amazing, overall performance is pretty good. Beautiful design and interface.
  • Cons: NOT DEPENDABLE! I am currently on my 4th replacement because of internal problems and I have been forced to do at least 5 factory resets. Call quality is mostly poor. It looks horrible with the extended battery.

Oh so promising, but....

TomSwo, CNET
25 January 2012
  • Summary: My last phone was a Blackberry Storm and the two before that were Nextel Motorolas and all three had excellent sound quality from the handset earpiece and external speakers. The Rezound's sound quality is unacceptable to me and people on the other end said my voice sounded tinny and had static. The highly hyped ear buds have muddy bass and seem to be missing a lot in the midrange. Midrange is more important to me than bass.
  • Pros: Android experience., Fast processor.
  • Cons: The handset speakers sound quality really sucks for phone calls.
