Great Form Factor, Underwhelming Android Experience
2 September 2013
Summary: I have used a Palm Treo, a two Blackberries, and two Samsung Android smart phones before trying the HTC One X+. The form factor was great. Super slim, super light, solid and durable. I could not be happier. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy HTC's implementation of Android. I found rooting the device way more complicated than rooting a Samsung device. Finally, the nail in the coffin, I found the sound volume to be too low when I tried to go on a run.
Summary: This is a wonderful phone! It's beautiful, it looks great, has fantastic speakers and two great cameras. You can't add storage space to it, which is a negative piece, but that's okay considering it has 64GB of space. The only thing is- the HTC One is better than the HTC One X+. That doesn't make sense to me, considering the names, but the HTC one has better cameras, newer software, and better speakers.
Frequently loses contact with SIM card, but has great display and is very fast.

Summary: First, be aware that there's a real problem with SIM cards. Once a week or so, the phone loses contact with the card, and I have to reboot to restore it. If I don't, I can't make and receive calls, and I can't access mobile data. I've replaced the SIM card and it still happens. Other users describe this problem all over internet forums. I bet it's a hardware flaw.
Summary: i was absolutely excited about receiving this latest HTC One X+ 4G phone with 64GB of storage mainly for business, but also personal uses. i didn't feel too comfortable with the fact that you can NOT insert your own 32-64GB Micro SD Card, as it physically can not be done, i settled with the fact that 64GB should be more than enough to handle what i currently use my HTC Inspire 4G phone for (and then some) so i purchased it (however, you can export your data via Cloud/USB...
Many faults, all of which are offset by the display.

Summary: First off, I'll state the positives about the phone. It looks killer, no question. The rubberized unibody and curved (on the edge) display give the phone a great looking exterior, the best in my opinion, of any phone by any manufacturer, including HTC's new phones. The display is stunning. Not only is it HUGE, and I really mean HUGE, but it is also capable of being insanely bright. It may only be 720p, but you can't tell.
Summary: I have been wanted to get the HTC One X since last year but after couple of delays finally i got this HTC One X+ which even better and also in my favorite white color. Love the durability and materials used by HTC on the one x+. Smoothness on the interface and couple with amazing HD camera makes me shoot pictures like a pro. However there are couple of drawbacks for this great amazing device which is the BATTERY IS NOT USER REPLACEABLE..
