Cheaper On Virgin Website

Kitty Kitti, Amazon
1 November 2014
  • Summary: geesh...I was just pricing it to see if I could get it cheaper than the $99 on Virgin's site. I was able to get the optimus cheaper last year but this price is way expensive. shop around.

A bit dissapointing

Kristjan, htc.com
15 February 2014
  • Excerpt: The previous smartphone which I had before One V was Wildfire. I paid 220 euros for it, after two years i decided to upgrade to One V, for which I also paid 220 euros. Truth to be said I was more satisfied with Wildfire than i am with my one V now.

Good Phone but...

Bhaskar1729, htc.com
2 February 2014
  • Excerpt: It has software issues in it. It lags with some apps particularly with the messages app. It takes ages to load the contents and to open a message I need to clear the RAM. Apps like Google+ and Facebook crash very frequently.

Decent budget smartphone but has cons

Brett G. "mindwideopen", Amazon
16 January 2014
  • Summary: I've had this phone for about a year now and as others have said the problem with the phone is it's slow. The phone is ok but do not expect it to be as fast as more expensive phones with a better processor. It does not have a dual core processor even, only a single.

HTC one V

Kwok, htc.com
30 December 2013
  • Excerpt: I think the HTC one V is a great phone, but it is pretty bad at the same time. By this I mean, the applications are great but it sometimes gets laggy and my battery dies out pretty quick.

Marie, Amazon
18 December 2013
  • Summary: I basically use my phone to make calls and send messages and this phone is great for that purpose. Needed to get a smart phone but didnt want something too complicated or expensive so this was a good purchase.

Okay

Yilin G., Amazon
10 December 2013
  • Summary: I bought it one year ago. It seems from South Asia, since the language it has installed are Vietnamese language, Thai language, etc. Now it does not work so well as before. An app starts slow, but...still runs well. But entering messages, phone and contacts interface would be very very slow.

slow response

T Farris, Amazon
3 December 2013
  • Summary: very slow to respond, when you touch the screen. Also the sound settings are confusing. I keep trying to set both the ring and the text messages to vibrate, but they keep getting turned off. The interface is not very intuitive and it is harder to manipulate contacts than it should be.
