Excerpt: Two weeks after receiving this phone the outer casing began to show hairline cracks. This was sent off for repair, and the white surround was replaced as the phone is still within warranty. Within a week, the cracks have begun to appear again. Other reviewers have had the same problem and it is well documented online. Very disappointing and I will not be returning to HTC (a shame, as family has given them good reviews, now we are all put off!
Summary: The seller did not tell me that my phone was going to come from a Chinese distributer. When I received the phone it was in the Chinese language. That was not that hard to fix but now I have some Chinese writing that is permanent in the lower lefthand corner over my phone icon.
Excerpt: I have had 2 new HTC One Mini Glacial Silver in the space of 7 days and same problem has developed in both. Small hairline cracks appear along the sides. Not impressed! Now looking at the black or a different model to stay loyal to HTC after having the Desire S for almost 3 years. Hope I will not resort to another brand.....
Excerpt: i liked it till i saw aircracks on the back after 2-3 days. Then after 6 days 3 cracks on the sides. Sometimes wifi doesnt work, sometimes wheather widget not working. Some lag since the uptade to 4.4.2. cant recommend to buy that phone that is tearing apart after less than a week.
Excerpt: I had a htc phone before and it was bad at picking up a signal in a low signal area, so I swapped it for a Motorola defy which worked great in a low signal area. Plus if you start to enter a phone number and tap the wrong part of the screen by mistake your number is gone but on a Motorola/iphone your number is still their.
Summary: The htc phone was a birthday gift for my partner. It was new,as stated, unlocked well,no,as was not,as was also stated. We were pleased last nite when it was opened...til today after signing 02 contract, putting sim in AND THE PHONE CANT ACCESS THE INTERNET. It is locked, and we are stuck with a contract we cant use on internet. Will be wanting my money back!!!
Summary: 20 years ago I acquired my first mobile 'phone so I thought I had "enjoyed" all the deficiencies of mobile technology - until I bought this thing. It's no good at making or receiving calls. It's no good for sending or receiving texts. The camera doesn't work. Apart from that it's fine. If you're looking to buy an HTC mobile buy a vase instead. It will be just as good - and you can keep flowers in it.
