Disappointing

James1, htc.com
20 May 2014
  • Excerpt: Two weeks after receiving this phone the outer casing began to show hairline cracks. This was sent off for repair, and the white surround was replaced as the phone is still within warranty. Within a week, the cracks have begun to appear again. Other reviewers have had the same problem and it is well documented online. Very disappointing and I will not be returning to HTC (a shame, as family has given them good reviews, now we are all put off!

It was from China!

Dennis, Amazon
4 May 2014
  • Summary: The seller did not tell me that my phone was going to come from a Chinese distributer. When I received the phone it was in the Chinese language. That was not that hard to fix but now I have some Chinese writing that is permanent in the lower lefthand corner over my phone icon.

One Crack too many!

JAHR, htc.com
2 May 2014
  • Excerpt: I have had 2 new HTC One Mini Glacial Silver in the space of 7 days and same problem has developed in both. Small hairline cracks appear along the sides. Not impressed! Now looking at the black or a different model to stay loyal to HTC after having the Desire S for almost 3 years. Hope I will not resort to another brand.....

Is it the phone or the store I purchased from?

Frank Ibrahim, Amazon
18 February 2014
  • Summary: I got this phone about a month or so through Amazon. I wish it had more reviews for me to go off of, but the normal HTC one had great reviews. I didn't want something as large so I thought this would be a good idea. Being my first android I was excited, coming from a windows phone, I didn't know what to expect. The phone itself looks great, It was slimmer and felt fragile in my hand, but with a case it felt just the right size.

(EDITED 8/04/14) UPDATED REVIEW... Went from 4 Stars to 1 Star

Darth Troglodyte, Amazon
10 December 2013
  • Summary: December 2013: Long story short, I have this as well as the flagship HTC One M7. The M7 I use primarily in the USA and this one, the M4 model, I use abroad since it's unlocked. Here's the breakdown... Do your homework and compare the tech specs between the M4 and M7! You'll notice some differences on paper regarding the internal hardware. When you use it in the real world, you will notice that the M4 is severely lagging behind it's big brother.

Wrong Color, Be Aware!

Shadi Boqari, Amazon
8 December 2013
  • Summary: It took very long time to arrive, more than estimated time. Also, received the wrong color. It was silver not black as mentioned in the post. I don't have time to return it so I used it because I need it.

HTC one mini

Motovic, htc.com
17 August 2013
  • Excerpt: I had a htc phone before and it was bad at picking up a signal in a low signal area, so I swapped it for a Motorola defy which worked great in a low signal area. Plus if you start to enter a phone number and tap the wrong part of the screen by mistake your number is gone but on a Motorola/iphone your number is still their.
