HTC Nexus One is the best Android phone

jackpackage, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: Yes, Verizon's Droid line might be bigger and sleaker. Samsung's Galaxy line are the new up and coming kids, and Sprint's EVO is the trendy new pick. However, if you want the best that Android can offer, look no further than Google's own Nexus One. Although it's availability is scarce, they are popping up in random places. Owning Google's flagship phone has it's benefits. It was the first to get Google's new Android 2.2 (Fro-Yo) and has great online support.

Nexus One, Google's Baby

9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: The Nexus One was a proof of concept phone. A phone made by HTC with a heavy influence from Google in order to push the Android hardware and software specifications to a new standard. It also introduced an online only sales model, which proved not to be too successful. Overall, the phone itself is a great handset. It has a nice, large screen and feels great in the hand. It is made out of a hard rubbery material that makes it very easy to grip.

Still a great android phone.

  • Excerpt: I've owned this phone for over a year now and it is still one of the top Android phones in my opinion. It runs a 1ghz snapdragon processor which still very nicely keeps up with the newest phones these days. It has a very sleek design, runs stock android and finally received Android Gingerbread, boosting the phones performance even more.

"This phone does almost everything I want it to do!"

jsarino69, CNET
26 May 2011
  • Pros: Snapdragon processor that's well ahead of its time and still used today. The grandfather of all the Android phones out there, but can still hang with the best. Loaded without the bloat. OS updates without restrictions. Strong all-around phone.
  • Cons: No front-facing camera. 3.7 screen is no longer the standard. Small internal memory (good thing for 32gb expandability)
