Mytouch kit

Overstock
21 May 2010
  • Summary: The kit arrived very fast, and it was a great buy. The only problem I had was that the home charger made my phone do weird things when it was plugged ( screen jumping, freezing), but thankfully I didn't need it. Otherwise it's great!

HTC Magic

Akshay, REVIEW STREAM
21 February 2010
  • Excerpt: Soon after the HTC Magic was announced, there were rumors of this phone being a possible iPhone killer. Now frankly speaking, it has become extremely tiresome for me every time some phone is claimed the latest iPhone killer. In my view, the HTC Magic doesn’t try to be an iPhone killer, instead, it tries to start it’s own trend, with no intention to come anywhere near the iPhone. Now this is what I appreciate, something new, and a completely new start. Love you HTC.

HTC Magic from Vodafone

  • Summary: Very intuitive. Decided on Magic because I only got a 32GB i-pod touch last year. Android app store not as goo as Apple's, with the majority very US-centric. It hooks up with your home WiFi network like a dream! Synchronization with Google contacts and calendar is dead easy! Problems? The only major ones relate to the music plater.

  • Excerpt: The phone atracteted me with its Android OS but that was basiclly it. Hopefully the new updates of the OS would make it worth the money and broaden its limited functionality.
  • Pros: Android OS
  • Cons: No flash,, no 3.5mm jack,, the RAM is only 192Mb,, no video calling,, no Radio

  • Summary: It's almost impossible to comment on this, it really is brilliant but thoroughly annoying at the same time. You would do best to read my review to decide for yourself.
  • Pros: Very pleasant to use and navigate, free with £30 Vodafone contract
  • Cons: Many features missing from Vodafone version, lacks basic software

  • Summary: Good things with HTC Magic / Google Ion * Fast and neat interface * Many applications on Android Market * Switches quickly and seamlessly between WLAN and 3G Bad things * For many buttons with special features, "Back", "Search", etc. Compromise between touch screen and traditional buttons. This wins Apple. * Segar down sometimes with many applications running. No default the "Back" button should be used. * Can not run the browser in full screen mode.

  • Summary: Agree with everything good about android and htc magic. However, only an 8 because: - No betalapps yet - The camcorder breathe the early 2000s, the camera classical htc-quality .. quite ok in good light - No FM radio. So used to this wont be so I did not realize it was missing until I unpacked it ... Instämmer i allt bra om android och htc magic. Dock bara en 8 pga: - Inga betalapps ännu - Videokameran andas tidigt 2000-tal, kameran klassisk htc-kvalité.

  • Summary: Tokbra hook! Keep No lies mostly in the Android operating system. The actual hardware is also nice - the phone feels very fast. The browser, integration with Google services, etc. are very good. Some minus: - Battery life. Like all smartphones devour the power when you use it for something fun. Expect to need to recharge every day if you use the phone very reasonably. - The headset.
