Excerpt: Soon after the HTC Magic was announced, there were rumors of this phone being a possible iPhone killer. Now frankly speaking, it has become extremely tiresome for me every time some phone is claimed the latest iPhone killer.
Summary: The kit arrived very fast, and it was a great buy. The only problem I had was that the home charger made my phone do weird things when it was plugged ( screen jumping, freezing), but thankfully I didn't need it. Otherwise it's great!
Summary: I bought a smart phone for myself and my wife and decided to purchase two of these accessory bundles. The whole lot is crap. I wouldn't risk using the chargers with $500 phones. The holsters, clips, etc. are also made of very poor material. The only item we've used are the silicone gaskets. In effect, we paid 3x the cost for these since the rest have been tossed into a box of odds and ends in a closet probably to be scavanged for parts for who know what. Don't buy this.
Summary: "I can't believe this has a lower editor review than the iphone! It's lighter, smaller, has excellent integration with google services and most importantly has a proper open app store which isn't policed by Apple!
Summary: "Wow this phone is great. I had the iPhone and while android WAS catching up I think it has now surpassed it. There are things that i never even realized that bugged me about the iphone that i noticed after getting this. Just the fact that i am not supporting apple makes me love this even more. I do wish it had flash and a headphone jack. I do miss that. Those are the only shortcomings i would even say. Android app market is amazing now and it gets better every day.
Summary: "When I first got my Magic I thought I had made a big mistake as was losing 40% of the battery overnight with no use. After downloading Power Manager and Toggle Settings I have turned off GPRS and wireless when not needed and the battery easily lasts two days. I am not interested in music on a phone so that doesn't bother me either.
Summary: "Love the phone very easy to use, smooth touch interface that is alot eaiser to nagvigate compared to Samsung and LG. Excellent alternative to the iPhone the lack of camera flash audio jack not an issue for me.
Summary: Background: I was in the market for a new phone to upgrade from a Nokia N95. I did much research and relied on: - Internet reviews - Newspaper reviews - Recommendations from some technical people I know Here's my non technical view of this device: Pros: None Cons: Making phone calls - reception is awful; sometimes cuts out for no reason even when there is apparently good reception Ease of use - for example there is no point to having favourites in the phone book as it is...
