Summary: I bought HTC Desire because I thought that this device will be really good. Yes this is a great device, except 2 BIG things making HTC Desire NOT excellent device. The first is THE SCREEN: AMOLED or SLCD doesn't matter (I've got SLCD). Multi-touch can process only 2 (two) points of a touches and make it with a HUGE glitches (you can find a video of this problem on YouTube by keywords: "htc desire multitouch").
Summary: I bought this phone as an alternative to the iPhone (which just seems *too* trendy). A few positives first: * I really like the design, size, and feel of the phone. It seems to be good quality, it's heavy, and it fits easily into my pocket. I liked that it's a bit smaller than the iPhone/Desire, as if you're wearing a suit/slacks/etc., they make large pocket bulges.
Great home phone, or portable computer. OKish mobile phone

Summary: 'Upgraded' from HTC Hero (only because my Hero wouldn't unlock to three network) This review goes the same as for that product (http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R2DS1N2V4CY1SS/ref=cm_aya_cmt?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B002BWPWRQ#wasThisHelpful) plus a few changes: First a note: as with other review, I'm not a 'normal' end-user. My Hero was, and still is, my 'mini-computer'. The Legend is a replacement for my house phone and broadband.
Summary: I liked the legend but then a update came out and slowed the thing down, now it crashes when I unlock it and attemt to make a phone call. That's why I have now moved to the iPhone as it works.
Summary: when it works properly, its amazing, however , when going through apps and menus the sometimes starts to lag, & the buttons are not secured firmly. ive had mine 3 months , and the lock button no longer works, & the buttons at the bottom have started to push out the sides
Pros: looks, design , operating system
Cons: flimsy buttons , becomes slow and unresponsive at times
Summary: I have ordered the legend the 9th of OCtober, we are now the 22 and i still have not received the beast yet. Amazon is a joke. they treat their clients like dirts especially when they promise to delivers the items "between 3 and 5 days". When I receive it if i ever receive it , I ll send it back to THEM.And of course i ll buy the phone somwhere else and i ll never buy anything anymore from those fraudulent people of amazon This company is a joke, Delivered to you by...
Summary: Good as a PDA, but connectivity with wi-fi, and vodafone is quite poor, I need to be in the same room as my wifi router to get a signal, wheras other phones connect all over the house. Bad experience with conncting to vodafone in the cambridge area, but i note they have weak coverage there.
Summary: Poor phone signal, Poor wifi signal and a terrible battery life. Beautiful build quality, lovely screen and great a great OS. But the fundamental things of an everyday phone are just not there yet. Smart phones are becoming too smart for there own good.
Summary: not a bad phone , still working out how to use it, roaming dont seem to work the apps are ok the free games are pretty poor but new apps and games are being made for the andriod all the time . dont think this will ever be a i phone killer but its better than my last htc windows phone.
Summary: No doubt the legend is a great device unfortunately its a poor telephone.Had to return to amazon after five days of constant switching on and off as the phone froze then hung whilst texting or attempting to make phone calls.Expect to see the android error notice on a regular basis.Apart from this obvious shortfall in a mobile telephone the rest of the package was excellent. In summation destined to give the I pod touch a good run for its money !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
