Crashes constantly. Appalling customer service from HTC
1 May 2013
Summary: Looks fine but don't expect HTC to EVER respond when the phone malfunctions. Crap service.
Pros: Very nice camera.
Cons: This phone worked well until HTC installed updates 12 months ago and since then it crashes every time I make a call, most contacts have been deleted and I can't get emails any more. I emailed HTC Australia and haven't had a reply.
Summary: I have been a happy owner of the HTC Incredible for just over a year. For almost all of that time, I have loved the phone. Recently, however, I have run into a problem that has led to a complete change of heart, and I have come to discover that I am far from alone in this problem. I hope this review saves someone else from this same problem. Basically, my phone (like thousands of other phone from HTC) suddenly began randomly turning itself off and rebooting on it's own.
Summary: I was in a hurry to get the phone and it was actually important to get as soon as possible, that is way I ordered one day shipment. But when I got the phone I realized that the phone screen was defective. There were two lines of defect on the screen which can be seen under the light when the phone is off. I returned the item and waiting for refund. I will update when I get the refund.
Summary: I bought the HTC Inredible a couple of months ago. I sent it back to HTC because of a defect and asked for repair. They declined under-warranty-repair and charged me 44.00 to fix and send back. They refused to offer reason why they would not cover it. I called Verizon to complain and they credited me the amount on my bill. I love Verizon, but I will never purchase another HTC product.
Summary: If only I had not used it I could have returned it. This phone uses so much power if fully functional you might think its got a fault. The battery does last a day so much that I had turned the internet off and am using it for calls and texts only
Summary: I bought this phone in July 2011, with very high expectations. The reviews made it sound amazing, a top competitor for the iPhone. And it still does get good reviews. However, about a week into owning this phone, a huge problem became evident- the reception. I'm on the network O2, and I now know that there is a known glitch between the network and the phone. I receive texts up to 4 hours late. People get put straight through to voicemail.
Excerpt: I lost my good phone so i went for a new one and it was this phone. it's a good phone, does what iphone does and maybe more, good camera and good sound but to me its worthless because the battery does not last long, the reception is poor, no matter where you go it still says no reception and it takes hours for it to come back.
Excerpt: This phone is a delight to use and very user friendly. Its operation is very simple (from a first time user of Android). The camera isnt as good as the N95's 5 megapixel camera as it exhibits quite a bit of noise in complex shots, although it has a very fast focus and focuses on the point you tap on the display. It's OK for point and shoot happy snaps but not much else. Battery power is ok. I get just on 2 days on a charge with only 2-3 calls/day.
