Excerpt: I thoroughly enjoy my phone but can't wait to upgrade because i do enjoy using a lot of space consuming applications. This is good, durable phone but definitely not great for application use. Battery use could also be better, but think a lot of that is how I use the phone. If you want to make calls, text, and occassionally use an app, this is totally a great phone.
Excerpt: I like this phone, but I don't LOVE this phone! I have had it about a year. It is my first ever "smart phone". I had read good reviews about it a decided this was the phone I was going to purchase. First let me start with the pro's~ 1. the screen is really clear 2. I love the large clock on the main screen 3. I like that it shows the weather of your current area. 4. I like all of the avaiable apps. for the adroid OS. 5.
Excerpt: I never thought I would be one of those people who couldn't live unless their phone was on them at all times. I try to stay grounded and sensible about it, but since this is my first experience with a smart phone ( I hardly even texted on my last regular cell phone) I keep finding new uses for it and it keeps my life organized all in the palm of my hand.
slow, freezes, short battery life but cool looking

Excerpt: I like the size of this phone and I thought I would like the fact that it was touch screen but I quickly learned that it’s hard to use. It’s really hard to text on unless your fingers are the size of a baby’s. I make a lot of incorrect calls while trying to operate with anything but a pinky finger - forget using it one handed. I don't understand why, but the screen does not respond to touch if it’s laying on a flat horizontal surface.
Excerpt: I have had the HTC Hero for 1 year now, so I have had it since it first came out last year and was able to live through the bugs and fixes and issues that have risen since. Pros: Camera on this is a 5 Mega Pixel camera and takes decent photos. Do not expect it to take a perfect still like a Cannon Eos Rebel XS or anything, it is what it is... a cell phone camera. The Video is also average quality when it comes to cell phones. Design on this phone is very good.
Excerpt: First of all the HTC hero supposedly won't be getting anymore Andriod updates after the 2.1. The HTC Hero features a 3.2 inch touch sensitive HVGA LCD display with a resolution of 320 x 480, there is also a five megapixel camera which is capable of shooting still photos and recording video. The Hero can occasionally be slow. This is probably the biggest killer for people. You can't Flash content didn't always work from the Web browser.
Excerpt: I have had this phone for just a couple months now but it has been pretty good. I had a motorola razor before so this was my jump into the smart phone thing. It was really really hard to get used to at first, especially not being able to just fall back onto a keyboard, but I like it a lot now. I love the size. It is just small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket but big enough to watch a video or see print comfortably...for a cell phone anyway.
Excerpt: This phone is my first experience with a smart phone so I was not sure what to expect. At first i really liked this phone. It has so many different functions that are easy to use. I love all the apps that are available. The speed of the phone was great at first but seemed to slow down with time. At first the phone reacted almost too fast to my touch but now sometimes it does not even react at all. I have taken it in to be calibrated and reset but it is still really slow.
