Summary: "I am disappointed. It locks up alot when I answer a call. Miss lots of call because the in vibrate mode I can't even feel it vibrate in my pocket. If you touch volume control it shifts it back to ring mode without much warning, constantly checking that ring or vibrate mode.Yesterday I had to remove the battery to get it to stop freaking out constantly staying on the ringer volume page and no other buttons responded.
Excerpt: Got the phone as a father day gift, loved it!! but... freezes up to much, battery life SUCKS!!! plus facebook info on contact will not update including: their prof photo, status, or even let you upload a video to youtube or facebook. this is my first touch screen, i love it cuz i have a lot of patience... but i would not recomend buying.
Excerpt: I was excited to get this phone as I was hoping that its many advanced features would address my techie needs. What a dissapointment it turned out to be... Yes, its hardware is very capable, but it's the software that makes the good hardware work hard. The software (OS) of this phone is simply not reliable, and I am not just talking about Windows Mobile 6.5, it's also HTC Sense that is not any better. I went through two firmware upgrades and it still blows.
Excerpt: I love smart phones. I love having the internet (ahem, Facebook) at my fingertips and being able to check my email whenever I want. However, this particular phone has not served me well. First of all, there's a delay. When I use the touch-screen, it lags in response and so I end up hitting it multiple times, causing the screen to jump all about. Secondly, it drops calls all the time...even when I have full bars of coverage.
Pros: I think it is a great handset with easy to use touch screen, good camera and large display. It is easy to connect to your Pc and you can install custom Roms with ease. HTC Sense weather was nice.
Cons: Win. Mob. is appalling, the worst OS from MS. It does not interface correctly with the device so data connections are very intermittent. It is plagued by a poor user interface and lack of features, the Windows Marketplace is just embarrassing.
Cons: Need to reboot it once a day. Calls are constantly going to voicemail. Normally that doesnt bother me but my job requires me to be on call 24/7. Locks up at least twice a day. Keyboard refuses to deploy. Swipe kills the phone.
Pros: The phone is great in theory, the screen is very responsive. The picture quality and screen quality is amazing.
Cons: The battery life is terrible. With a full charge it lasts probably 5 hours. With only texting, and screen viewing. The screen freezes and to get it to work again you have to remove the battery. The speaker phone feature doesn't work half the time.
