Excerpt: Let me start by saying I had the sidekick 2, 3, LX, prior to getting the G1. I had the g1 2 years before getting this. Reason I say that is because I don’t like all touch screen phones and am very used to the keyboard aspect. That is one of the reasons I upgraded to this. It is 1000x better then the g1. It is very quick and has a lot more memory. It is a little bulky and the 4g network is a joke when its basically nowhere atm. But other than that I love the phone so far.
Excerpt: This phone just came out in October of 2010, and it is my first android phone. My husband had the IPhone for the longest time, and I had a chance to compare both of these. First off, T-Mobile has a more consistent coverage (less dropped calls) and cheaper plans. The G2 has a slide out keyboard, but it also makes it for a very HEAVY phone. You actually get used to it after a while and don't notice it, but at first you will.
Excerpt: I had the G1 and worked for tmobile when that came out. I had that for over 2 years and then upgraded to the G2 after much research. I need the slide out keyboard because I suck at trying to text on the screen and I do alot of texting. The phone is fast in all areas. I am sure if you bog it down with tons of apps and stuff it may slow down but so far so good. Love this phone.
Works great other than occassional power glitches.

Excerpt: Really love working with my new android phone, and the G2 is a great model. The keyboard comes in and out like a charm, and don't have any problem with it "falling open" unexpectedly. I have noticed a few times where I have had to take out the battery and put it back in to get it to turn on, but that could be some slight defect in my particular phone (it could have been me who damaged, but haven't done anything too hurtful to it...
Excerpt: I recently upgrqded to the TMobile G2 because I got a really good deal on it. I like the size. Opening the keyboard was sort of difficult at first, because it requires more force than you would think necessary. I was afraid I was going to break it! But now, I am comfortable with it. I only have the 200mb plan through tmobile, and i have yet to go over my data usage.
Excerpt: I bought this phone about a week ago and it is a very cool device. The qwerty keyboard is very nice and probably the niced one i have ever used. It is very fast for a 800mhz processor and application high demanding cpu applicaiton run just fine on the device. The one problem i had was its lack of support with AT&T's 850 gsm band which is not supported on the G2. This phone would have been great if it was on Tmobile but sadly i could not use it.
Excerpt: Got this phone for my wife and I for Christmas. This is the first smart phone I have had so not much to compair it too. I'm a big computer geek and I'm no use too hanging tight until everything loads. I like that I have a mini internet browser when I'm too lazy to turn on my pc. Load times are avarage but nothing special. The phone tends to lag at times which is really annoying. You can not change the external lights to a different color which I don't like.
