Summary: I purchased this for my daughter because her other phone, HTC Sense was stolen and the phone was only about 2 months old and no insurance to cover the stolen phone. She loved her HTC sense and this HTC phone has given her nothing but problems. Very slow connect to the internet it keeps shutting off on her. She complains about it constantly.
Summary: The phone is turn off all the time... Probably is some failure. I use the phone and all the time turns off solo. I was thinking probably the wifi is turn on or something was consuming the battery, but the cell doesnt have a wifi. So idont know was going wrong!!!
Summary: I really like the overall features of the phone, the smartphone-like experience without having to pay for data. The only problem I have with this is that I get multiple text messages, sometimes up to 5 of the same thing. A fix for this is to frequently delete my messages, but it gets annoying to be having to do that.
Summary: The HTC Freestyle is a good feature phone for someone that doesn't quite want a smartphone. It has the feel of a smartphone. PROS ARE: -It's touchscreen. -You don't need a data plan to use this phone. -It has a 3.2 megapixel camera. -Expandable memory up to 32 GIGS. -It has all the basics of any phone such as a music player, email messaging, and FM radio. CONS ARE: -Does not have Wi-Fi.
Summary: I bought this phone for my son, at it was the closest thing to a true 'smart' phone that I could afford. Well, the thing is quirky. It shuts off at random intervals, it has system errors constantly, and just isn't the greatest. I took it into the AT&T dealer, and they told me that it IS the better of the almost-smart phones...so I guess in my opinion you might just get an I-phone or Blackberry, and save yourself the hassle.
