Summary: I purchased this phone based on price, size, Android system, past satisfaction with HTC products, & data compatibility with the African markets. Upon initial inspection I was quite pleased, but when put into full time service it turned to be quite disappointing.
Summary: This is an excellent phone! It has a large, bright, clear screen and isn't bulky to carry or hold. I like that when I push buttons it vibrates, making me feel like it's a real button. There's no need to buy a protective skin for it because the back and sides are already rubberized, a nice feature.
Summary: This is a good back-up or starter phone to have. Easy to use and compact. There is not a lot of memory in this baby, but it will do. Bought it from Hasslefreecell. They were amazing! The phone was shipped in 3 business days.
Summary: Phone has little or no internal memory. Cannot update most apps (or even download new ones. Right now I have to fiddle with app memory just to view my photos. Save up and get a better phone with at least 2gb internal memory.
US Buyers Beware - 3G doesn't work! Not enough internal memory.

Summary: There are two main problems with this phone. If you're going to be using data in the U.S., I couldn't ever find a way to get 3G working, so your fastest speed will be Edge. But the other problem is even worse - there's only 130MB of internal storage, which fills up so incredibly fast, even if all of...
Summary: I decided to get a Smartphone and wanted an unlocked version to activate on my Consumer Cellular account. Researched and compared and decided on this one. Consumer Cellular shipped me a replacement SIM for my old phone. Installed in the Explorer and activated it.
Summary: Love the phone. Fantatic responses. However, you must be careful when talking with the phone against the ear as the slightest touch will make the call drop. Beautiful colours and resolution. On the negative side not happy with the battery. The battery barely last through the day.
Summary: Great service, product came as expected, brand new. I just put in my sim card, powered it on and i was on my way. I've had it or 2 months now and everything still works very well. I really wish HTC would have build a led light into it but, other than that its all good.
Summary: Needed a replacement for my Samsung and wanted a bit of an upgrade from my Solstice. Did a bunch of research and decided the Explorer was my best option under $150. Phone came sooner than expected, charger was European with an adapter. Thank goodness we're all using a universal plug now.
