Summary: A good phone if you are looking for a smartphone that isn't too high-tech or fussy. Good sized phone with good graphics and features, like youtube and weather apps, which are helpful. My only complaint is the phone's internal memory and battery life. The internal memory is very limited and the battery life could be improved.

Excerpt: I use a different phone for my work and to be honest it is the phone that I tend to use the most as I am at work more at the moment. I never knew much about the HTC brand before I chose this model but now that their popularity is growing I have become more intrigued in looking at their models.
Summary: The HTC Explorer is not suitable for making phone calls. It may have other attributes, but making phone calls is not one of them. It is also not suitable for answering calls. The screen is useless in daylight. Scrolling thru contacts calls each one you touch. This could cost you.
Conclusion: I'm using HTC Explorer (Black Colour) since last 3 months. I would like to suggest people to choose Explorer over Samsung Galaxy Y as far as picture quality and screen resolution is concerned. It is very much compact and stylish cell phone. In accessories you will get charger cum USB connector. Now let's come to negative aspects, the battery life is not much appreciable. Moreover, no headsets comes along with this cell. If you are willing to spend Rs.
Summary: I am really pleased with this phone. I am not a keen mobile phone user and though I consider myself far from a technological luddite am the first to admit that mobile phones have always been somewhat of a mystery to me. The last one I felt fairly competent on was a Nokia 3210. But I must admit, I am getting used to this phone ... so much so that when it got stolen during a burglary, I bought a replacement as soon as I could.
Conclusion: This phone HTC explorer is great for its cost and is worth for its money... actually samsung galaxy y and this phone being in the nearly same price range i would suggest to go for this HTC explorer... The software platform being android 2.3.5 and its in built 512 RAM is great to operate and access all the applications without and problem and lag... its display is of the average size and is very good... The phone memory on comparison is very small...
Conclusion: I have been an obedient symbian OS user for years, but HTC makes sense why other brands doesn't beat HTC in terms of its perfect soft sensitive touch screen, decent camera, good display and most importantly Price. I am happy that I made the right choice. I have been using this for the last 2 days only, but I can assure you its the best phone at this budget.
