Good phone (for someone who doesn't use it heavily)

Summary: It's a great phone, don't get me wrong. I bought it as a cheap upgrade from the Galaxy Prevail, and at first, I thought it was the greatest phone ever. I didn't start using it heavily until about a month in and that's when I started noticing the faults. First, the battery life is a bit sub-par. Lasts about half the day before I need to urgently seek an outlet.
Summary: I was an HTC fan a have owned HTC since HTC started selling phones in the US. Currently have a family plan with 5 of these phone. Mine was well maintained but started to have problem. Thought this was caused by the new LTE network that sprint was deploying. A month went by and the issue was not resolved so took the phone to the store and was told the digitizer was going bad. Called HTC (The canadian office) and was told "tough luck".
Summary: The HTC Evo Design 4G, Great phone Couldn't beat price I paid and its almost Mint Not 1 scratch on front small 1 on back. The battery? This model tends to use it fast, but u can work around that. I rooted it and its very easy and now I can add appz I couldn't w/stock fone. Another nice thing is The Micro SD chip, It didnt come with one, Nor did it say it did (so I knew) I put an 8Gig in and Thats plenty of room for Games , Appz, And Music.

Pros: STEREO audio for the camcorder - no other smartphone, even high-end ones, has this! Also great display quality, good concept phone with useful features.
Cons: Bad battery life, poor antenna, custom ringtones won't "stick", long boot-up, won't run off AC/Car/USB pwr alone w/dead or removed battery (6-8 min boot-up w/dead batt), bad PWR button design, single processor, can't talk and use data simultaneously
Summary: But this was less than half, and does almost as much. I have come to learn and understand over the years that your phone is only as good as your service, but your service can FAR surpass the goodness of the phone. Therefore, I must say that I love Boost Mobile [for which this particular version of the HTC EVO was made]. I get great service from them, and stick with them instead of getting my iPhone with another company. That having been said, this phone is pretty nice.
It's a good phone but no where close to a great phone.

Summary: The HTC EVO 4g is an average cell phone. It has limited to poor reception and it has a very small internal memory. Around 350mb. Only music and pictures are stored on the micro sd card. Another downside to the phone is the battery life is poor. I have the extended battery and cover on mine. It doubles the width of the phone and weight.
