Excerpt: Hello everyone my name is Dorian and today I will share and rate my review for the HTC Evo V. I loved the phones features but its not worth a purchase due to poor battery life. Pros: • 4G speeds which I never/cant be used based on my location in WI. • The cameras are superb front and rear.
Excerpt: I picked this phone up on virgin mobile and I only had it for 2 days... battery life was poor, the phone kept randomly restarting... probably because it couldn't handle the 4G network... And some other minor problems... I asked best buy if anyone had similar problems..
Pros: Excellent Viewing Angles, Great Camera (Not 3D Photos or vids), First No-Contract Phone to have ICS (Along with the EVO Design 4G on Boost)
Excerpt: PRO-Zippy, very responsive, 4G WiMAX CON-Sence, come on it 2.3 do we really need a custom UI?, Battery! My phone is rooted and I have it under-clocked to save battery when the screen is off and memory optimizer, if I get a day, I'm lucky.
Summary: 3d won't be much real use for a few years yet. Manufacturers need to shift all their out of date tech, which when it is first gen is a big pain. This is totally the class leader, but come on.... it needs serious work to be a real cool fone.
Summary: I am unable to use my cell phone at home or at my boyfriend's house (Sheboygan, WI). I get sporadic service when I'm between peshtigo and green bay (50 miles of highway)or between green bay and Sheboygan (67 miles of highway). I have barely used it because nearly every call is dropped.
Excerpt: Going from the evo to the evo 3d, did not see much of a battery improvement. the service was less than the evo, receiving more dropped calls and less bars. not good if coverage is a deciding factor for you.
