"Great phone until it started rebooting on its own."
22 June 2012
Pros: If its working, the phone is very fast and responsive. 3D is nice, but its ultimately useless. Battery life was surprisingly good. **this all ended when the phone started to randomly reboot**
Cons: Constant rebooting fried out the battery. And the fix from sprint was only temporary(lasting a week at most). Have gone through 4 batteries, and about 7 factory resets. Thought it might be software so I tried not downloading any apps, to no avail.
Pros: The screen was smaller and easier to handle (but not a necessary change from the EVO 4G).
Cons: 1) zero reception inside my house. 2) CONSTANTLY powers off by itself. The ONLY way to turn it back on was to do a battery pull. I had this phone a total of 24 hours and must've pulled the battery out at least 15 times.
Excerpt: My HTC Evo 3D replaced my old and worn 4G EVO. At first, it was exactly what i was looking for... a phone with a longer battery life. i was extremley pleased with my new for the first couple of weeks been then the problems started to arise. The phone kept giving me these weird messages system faild and all kinds of weird things. i couldnt txt, couldnt take pictures, couldnt look at my contacts and couldnt use ANY program or app on my phone!!!
"Awesome Phone till the touch screen started screwing up"
29 October 2011
Pros: Awesome Phone, This has been the best phone ive ever had. Dual Core, really fast, no lag. Did everything I ever wanted it to apart from washing my clothes.
Cons: Ive had it for about 5 months and the other day the touch screen started doing random things. Dead spots in the screen. I would the menu or back button and it would start making a phone call. Ive done everything, calibrate, resetting to factory setting
Pros: Fast, nice screen (except in direct sunlight, see below), Sense 3.0 is beautiful and robust.
Cons: Poor phone reception , mediocre voice quality, tinny speakerphone with very low volume. (A phone still needs to be a phone!!) Mediocre battery life (standby life is much better than EVO, bu t battery life still sucks if you use it!) Screen is narrower t
Pros: - 1.2 Ghz SnapDragon core processing speed is fast. - Great QHD screen
Cons: - Phone turns off randomly. You won't even know the phone is off until you try to see if you've missed any calls or texts. Not a battery issue as it has been replaced several times. - Texts arrive several days later. - Several software integration issue
Excerpt: I got this phone 1 year ago and since then I have been through 3 of them. Once your provider pushes updates it became a paperweight for me. I love Andriods but after owning this I will go to an iPhone next which I don't like. I will never own another Andriod phone again especially from HTC. By the way, I have the purple/plum one. Maybe it was a bad batch but I got the crappiest ones!
Pros: Fast speed processor, and high quality screen. Emailing and messaging are great.
Cons: The battery life is not good. I don't even use 4G because it drains the life out of my phone. When I make an outgoing phone call it turns my phone ring volume all the way down to nothing and I have turn it up after most of my phone calls or restart my p
Pros: Great specs and when it worked it worked well. This phone lasted longer on the stock battery then the Evo 4g.
Cons: Poor build quality. My first Evo 3D fell out of my pocket and shattered the screen. Sprint's inssurance provider overnighted me a new phone and with in three weeks that one had screen issues. I did not want to have a third Evo 3D3D in less then three m
"Great phone - Does not sync with Outlook, Unforgiveable"
26 July 2011
Pros: High quality phone with lots of great apps. Interface takes getting used to, but once you do, it can be a productive phone.
Cons: Does not sync properly with Outlook. This is an unforgiveable sin. If I cannot rely on my calendar being updated with my Outlook server, this phone falls to really cool toy. I need a phone that can do the job for work and for play. This phone is for p
