Pros: honestly, I have had so many problems with this phone that it is hard to see any pros
Cons: -phone will randomly turn off -phone will freeze up - 3D camera does not produce quality images, very oversold in the commercials - it takes 15 min to download an application no matter if you are using wifi or the mobile network energy connection
Excerpt: I've had this phone for over a year now on Virgin Mobile. A solution to short battery life is to buy a third party battery (i use a 1900 mah anker battery) which lasts 2 to 3 hours longer than the stock battery on average. The camera has a considerable amount of shutter lag. After rooting, it seems like the 4.1 stock camera app works best (compared to the htc sense camera and 4.2 stock camera). Cell signal/reception is pretty bad, rarely getting more than 3 or 4 bars.
Excerpt: I recommend this phone even know it its great for all uses and the 3D camera is amaizing. you can get some great shots with it very stunning quality it feels very nice in the hand it doesnt feel cheap at all.
Great Phone ! Fast Dual-Core Processor ! Excellent Battery Life !
2 March 2013
Summary: I bought this phone to get a slightly bigger screen than my previous phone (HTC Shift) and a faster processor. With it's dual-core processor the HTC 3D is way faster with more memory available. It is also lighter and a bit thinner. Battery life is good--close to 3 days with my use. I can't really say I dislike anything about the phone...I didn't & don't really need dual cameras and the 3D video capabilities...but who knows ? maybe the next guy will.
Summary: I switched from a HTC EVO Shift to the HTC Evo 3D and LOVE IT!!! I can only compare the HTC EVO 3D to the HTC EVO shift as that is all I have had. I got used to the touchscreen keyboard quite quickly. Although you will have to review your texts, spell check is not always correct. The operating system is much quicker, the touchscreen is more responsive, the 3D pictures are real cool, but impractical. The size and weight are very manageable.
