Proprietary Data/Charging Cable is Annoying

Ontime 2, Amazon
11 October 2013
  • Summary: It is really annoying and you should be aware that the CORRECT data/charging cable to use is different than generic micro USB. Most people are unaware it is supposed to use a genuine HTC DC-T500 extMicro USB cable for proper fitment and to prevent damage to the data/charging port. From personal experience on this subject, (having bought a brand new Incredible in a sealed Verizon branded box that contained a generic micro USB cable) I can tell you that a standard generic...

Need to know your cell phone choices

Ronald W. Hopper, Amazon
15 August 2013
  • Summary: This phone was received exactly as described and was a good price. There are so many phones that I thought this was the latest Droid Incredible, but was only a 3G phone, not the new 4G phone. The phone is sufficient for my needs and was much cheaper than the 4G phone directly from Verizon.

Nice size, but no a good camera on it

Christine Hainey, Amazon
13 August 2013
  • Summary: The size of the phone is excellent. Never liked the idea of a large phone. The only problem is the camera. It has on numerous occasions froze up on me, where the only way to fix it was to take out the battery.

Nice phone...when it works

Matt F., Amazon
31 July 2013
  • Summary: I have had the Droid Incredible for a little over a year at the time of this review. I believe that I have a good "feel" for this phone now that I've used it for a while, and my summary is that I don't think it deserves the title "Incredible". To clarify my review, I am reviewing both the phone and the operating system (Android 2.3.4 on my device).

Worst cell phone I have ever owned!!!!!

Dom3269, Phone Arena
13 July 2011
  • Excerpt: I have owned this phone for 6 months and have already gone thru 3 incredibles because of glitches this phone is far from living up to its name!!! I am stuck with this horrible phone for at least another year. I will never buy another android ever again!!!My advice go with an iphone or blackberry you wont regret it!!!
  • Pros: internet, camera, apps, auto correction, htc sense, not much else
  • Cons: battery life, freezes alot, drops calls, fails to send texts, has a ton of glitches, has a mind of its own

Reception mediocre, sound quality mediocre

Paul Rivers, Phone Arena
11 May 2010
  • Excerpt: I'm very disappointed with this phone, even moreso after reading all the "oh the phone is so great" reviews. There are several things I like about it. For one, the interface is really snappy. It's great. And the speakerphone is really solid - it's the first phone I've ever had where I actually enjoyed using the speakerphone.
  • Pros: Speedy interface and apps/games, Really solid speakerphone, Thin and light (for a smartphone), Sound volume
  • Cons: Mediocre Reception, While volume was good, sound was a little robotic and voices not as detailed as with previous phone - slightly more trouble understanding people.

Moto Droid Still - BIG DADDY

DeJay, Phone Arena
1 May 2010
  • Excerpt: Moto Droid still BIG DADDY  by DeJayAfter waiting for this phone and receiving it; it's going back TODAY!!!!Yes this phone is a bit faster than Big Daddy but if you blinked, you'd miss the difference. I've had this phone in my hand for two days and spent most of that 48hrs with this phonePs. Can't wait to Verizon opens today!! Get my $300 plus back and save it for a real phone.
  • Pros: A bit faster
  • Cons: Signal Strength, battery life, and display in sunlight and design quality is horrible. FEELS LIKE A TOY!!
