Summary: I'll preface this by saying I'm a big HTC fan. I've had Blackberry, Apple, and HTC phones and I LOVE HTC phones. My first was the Inspire and then this Droid DNA. First, the good: Amazing screen, strong battery life, good all-around features, and a lot of accessories. And the camera...ohhhh, the camera. Amazing. Just hands-down the best camera on a phone I've ever seen, so much so that people comment "What camera did you use to that that?!
Summary: As my first smartphone ever, this seemed like a great phone to me. With no manual, it took a while to get used to how to use it after years of a flip phone. However, after about 5 months, the touch screen would not work, and I could not even power the phone down without taking the battery out. Could not text, could not answer a call, because the screen would not respond.
Summary: the phone has hang ups, where the screen will not come on when you press the wake up button....it did not come with a manual for reference of operating....it does not like to stay connected to the internet, keeps shutting down and I have to restart again....for most part the phone is good to have if needed....
Summary: I bought this phone because it was less expensive than fully replacing my shattered Motorola. But I've had it only a few weeks, and the charger has lost one of its prongs. I've never seen a charger lose a prong before! Since it's an odd charger, I can't just use one of the others I have around the house. A Garmin charger will fit, but I'd have to be driving to use that.
Summary: The phone works fairly welI, except for one problem: I can only text while the phone is held in the horizontal position. For some reason, when the phone is held upright, there is a problem with the keys. They are somehow unaligned. When I press certain keys, say the letter 'K'... the 'J' or the 'L' will appear on the screen. Therefore, I have to turn the phone horizintal; it works fine then. But, I cannot press send in the horizontal position.
