Excerpt: I was torn between this phone and the Galaxy Note2. I wish I had bought the Galaxy. This phone has been one series of problems after another. The biggest problem is this -- the phone regular loses "contact" with the SIM card. This makes the phone useless in emergency situations. I have had the phone replaced three times because of this.
Pros: Display, Speed
Cons: Internet lags, Poor camera, Needs to be rebooted 1-3 times daily, Hot keys and keyboard lags or freezes, Poor battery life, Verizon
Excerpt: Unfortunately screen crack easily when i drop just as i walk (just 2 weeks after getting it). Previous HTC Desire HD does not have that issue when i drop i couple of times, and still work like a charm. So i really wonder gorilla glass is really true to what they have advertise.
Excerpt: I have no jiff with the phone, it acts as it should. However, the battery is consumed like crazy! i cant get more than 4 hours under regular use on 3G. Also, the camera is not on par with the droid flagships. Finally, it would be nice if they can add accessibility buttons on the drop down menu, like wifi etc..
Excerpt: This is a great phone, I mean great other than the bluetooth is the worst in any New phone I've ever used. The wife has the same phone so I don't just have a lemon. Voice dialing returns the correct contact only 20% of the time, can be very frustrating. If it was not for this issue I would rate this phone 5 stars. But it is a deal breaker for me and I will be returning phone.
Summary: This phone has a known issue with its sim card tray. It will lose the card causing you to disconnect from the network unable to utilize either data or voice calls. The user either has to wait for it to be "re-found" or reboot the phone; both very annoying. Everything else on the phone is great. The screen is very clear, the camera is great. I enjoy the phone, just not that it disconnects all the time.
