HTC's Droid DNA is ridiculously fast, thin, and seductive

CNET
19 April 2014
  • Summary: With quad-core power, 4G LTE, a lovely 5-inch screen, and a stunning design, the $199.99 HTC Droid DNA is currently Verizon's best Android deal.
  • Cons: The Droid DNA's large size makes it tricky to fit in tight pockets, and it lacks both an SD card slot and a removable battery.

Review HTC Droid DNA (Butterfly) Smartphone

Notebookcheck
6 August 2013
  • Summary: New Droid. HTC offers a new mainstream smartphone with a bright Full HD display and a Snapdragon S4 Pro SoC. The technology of the Super LCD 3 display was already convincing in the review of the larger sibling HTC One, but we also have a closer look at the other components...
  • Pros: Great display, High color accuracy, Full HD, Good build quality, Application performance, The vibrant display and the good build quality look as if they were made out of one piece. The Droid DNA is comfortably in the hands despite its large 5.0-inch display.
  • Cons: Mediocre camera, Limited storage without expandability, Average battery runtimes, Non-removable battery, High price, The internal storage is not very generous with 16 GB. A micro SD slot for expandability would have been nice.

HTC Butterfly Review

thinkdigit.com
4 February 2013
  • Summary: The Butterfly takes it all to the next step. Why you should consider buying this phone is for the brilliant 1080p HD display, the excellent build quality and the blazing fast performance. Equally, do consider that the battery life will just about get you through a day under medium usage load conditions. We were surprised to find the Butterfly's camera was inferior to the very good clicker on the One X+.
  • Pros: Blazing fast performance, 1080p HD display is unmatched, Excellent build, Solid water resistance ratings, Well thought out ergonomics, Updated HTC Sense a refreshing change, Acceptable battery life, under most usage cases
  • Cons: Surprisingly disappointing camera, Confusing SIM tray mechanism, All the goodness costs a lot of money

Review: HTC Droid DNA

Pocketables
21 January 2013
  • Summary: Going into this review, I had the Galaxy Note II still on my mind, as should be obvious from the myriad of comparisons to the device within. For some, this will cause frustration, as they expect every device to be reviewed in a vacuum of sorts. Just as when people complained that the iPhone was always mentioned in Android device reviews back before Android was dominant, people seem to dislike it when one phone is compared too much to another in a review.

HTC DROID DNA Review

Phone Arena
15 November 2012
  • Conclusion: Slithering its way out of nowhere, surprisingly enough, we have to admit that HTC has a winner in the DROID DNA. Right now, it’s rather difficult to stand atop of the crowd knowing that you have other venerable smartphones out there to compete against, but HTC is able to head into the crucial holiday season knowing they have a standout contender.
  • Pros: Stunning detail with its 5-inch 1080p display, Svelte profile & lightweight, Takes sharp looking photos & videos, Better 4G LTE signal
  • Cons: Insufficient 16GB of memory with no expansion, Not enough enhancements with Sense 4.0+, Indistinct power button & volume control

HTC Butterfly

teknokulis.com
3 August 2013
