best phone

Kaylee, Amazon
20 March 2014
  • Summary: Love this phone. Although it does say gorilla glass 2, it still has a small scratch. I would suggest investing in a screen protector.

It's OK but it has some software update issues

Eugen, Amazon
10 December 2012
  • Summary: I bought this device from Wireovia about two weeks ago (end of November 2012). I had another one (bought from Europe) that I used for a few months before giving it to my wife and obviously I was happy with it since I bought another one. This particular device I got has quite an old software installed. It has Android 2.3.3 with HTC Sense 2.1 while the last version available is Android 2.3.5 and HTC Sense 3.0.

Good features, poor battery life

Mikel Ward, Amazon
9 November 2010
  • Summary: Feature-wise, this phone is good. Good web browser, good screen, acceptable music playback, excellent mail and calendar with Google sync, Facebook and Twitter integration, and a bunch of apps to make it do pretty much anything. But I get about 8 hours out of a single charge, so I often run out of battery by 3pm. Compared to my old Nokia E71, which had nearly as many features, but would easily last 24 hours, the HTC Desire is a huge let down.

great in many ways, not so much in some

K W, Amazon
5 November 2010
  • Summary: I have had some issues with this phone, no matter how much I want to love it. First, the good: image quality is great, touch os accurate and responsive. The stock htc launcher and apps are mostly good. Now the bad: My first phone I received would randomly restart, but never stayed booted up for more than 5 minutes or so. Seller replaced super quick with no fuss. Let me send back the original in the replacement's shipping box. The internal phone memory is very low.

ATT data Issues

WrldTraveler "kestrel300", Amazon
4 November 2010
  • Summary: I ordered this phone to replace my iPhone 4 on the ATT network and use while traveling with overseas SIM cards. Additionally, I am trying to migrate away from Mobile Me and this looked like a great option. I really like the phone and the HTC Sense interface is quite nice. However, this phone does not operate on the correct frequency for the ATT's 3G data network, so all data is transfered via the EDGE network which has slow data speeds.
