Excerpt: As i am a 24 year old girl, i really dont look into crazy specifics so as long as my camera works fine, my apps are up and running and the phone looks good am already half way there. My brother seemed to have a problem with the phones small memory and said regardless of the provision for a memory card, the phone memory should have been more than 514MB. I on the other hand have only one complaint; battery!.
Excerpt: I've had several smart phones, a couple of different BlackBerries, Palm Pro & one of the first HTC's and the Desire by far is the best yet! Even though I consider myself tech-saavy I found the HTC Desire very easy to use. The touchscreen is great, it's not super-senstiive like some are, but you don't have to hit it repeatedly either. The phone does have a sleek design, a little heavier than some other comparable sized phones.
Excerpt: So I just got the HTC Desire from a local cell phone company who wants my company to switch from AT&T and the iPhone to the HTC Desire powered by Android. I was clueless about Android and what it could do and even after watching a few tutorials and playing with the phone, I find it to be really nice but confusing to use. It has 7 home screens that can be customized depending on the scene that you want which just means wayyyy to many options.
Excerpt: This little phone can do the trick. It has many fatures you will be thrill to use. I am still learning everything it has to offer. For the money I am happy. It is a nice size easy to hold in my hand dosent fel as if it will slip out
Excerpt: It's a solid phone, I has so many features (turn-by-turn navigation, wifi-hotspot, flash-enabled browser to name a few), it is fairly cheap now and it is not manufactured by Apple! If anybody has a problem with the battery lifetime: You buy a spare one for $20! Unlike an Iphone you can just open the thing and change the battery.
Excerpt: This is my first smartphone and I love it. The touch screen is great and easy to use I love have the weather on the front to view (Also very accurate). Only thing is the battery life does not last. Every thing else is great. And the reception and clearity of calls.. outstanding!
Excerpt: The HTC Desire is my first smartphone and as someone whose trudged through life with various flip phones, this one has been a game changer for me. Why I didn't get it sooner is beyond me. There are so many pros that I couldn't possibly list them all with a teeny amount of cons but I'll run down a few that I feel are important. The Desire is rigid with a very good build quality without that plasticy feel from other phones I've owned.
Excerpt: I went from the LG Lotus Elite to the HTC Desire and it was like going from horse and buggy to Nascar! The eas of operation is astounding. I'm not thrilled with touch pad key board but I love the fact that you can slide across the keys and spell words. You don't have to click each letter. The other great thing about it is the apps that are available. Want to do some comparison shopping? There's and app for that!
Excerpt: Let me run you through the day I received my HTC Desire, I woke up, it was black friday. Early, or early for me anyway. Got to the store, stood in line, got the phone, and was told that my piece of crap pull out antenna phone was the biggest upgrade the man had seen all day. And boy oh boy was he ever right! I pulled the phone out of the box, turned it on, and my life has never been the same.
Excerpt: The HTC Desire phone is great! I got mine just a couple weeks ago. My husband even gave up his iPhone to get this thing. He loves the features and all the neat little things this phone can do. He said he likes it even better than his iPhone. It has all the apps you could possibly want available in the Droid Marketplace, and unlike Apple, you aren't limited by the apps having to be made by Apple and bought at the iStore. I love the ease of learning to work the thing.
