Summary: I bought this because my husband has an older version which has performed well and it is significantly cheaper than its competitors. I have not discovered all the functions yet but it is definitely everything you need in your pocket. A downside is that the manual is in the phone and I would rather have a booklet to look at with the phone in my hand instead of going backwards and forwards on my phone.
Summary: I'd recommend this product for people who want to enjoy the benefits of a smartphone and want to spend a reasonable price. It does the basics well: phone calls, SMS, access to android apps and reasonable battery life.
Summary: Having had my last phone (an HTC Wildfire) stolen I decided to opt for HTC again as I like the way they work. I needed a phone that is slim enough to carry when running, has really good sound quality, and takes a great photo: if these are your priorities the Desire X is a good choice. The screen is also larger and appears to be higher resolution than the Wildfire.
Summary: Very happy with my HTC. I've had it for almost a month now and i'm very pleased that i choose the Desire X. The screen is the perfect size (not too big) and its response and smooth to use. Email, text and web browsing work great. My only issue is with the battery life, 24 hours appears to be the max. I would recommend leaving the battery to charge for the allocated time (12 hours i think) before you use it.
Excerpt: "Overview The HTC Desire X is a smartphone, with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, it is very similar to HTC 1X but smaller in size with a 4 inch screen. Appearance It is quiet sleek (118.5 x 62.3 x 9.3 mm), has curved sides which give it quiet an elegant look. It has a metallic black front look and feels metallic too in weight and touch, however the back case/cover is soft and made of some kind of durable material which ...
Summary: I'd been considering a smartphone for some time. I'd researched several others and kept being drawn back to this one. My daughter already had an HTC and was very pleased with it. I particularly like that fact that it will synchronise with my Google calendar and so every time I add an appointment on my desktop PC, the appointment automatically appears in my telephone calendar. I also bought a 16GB microSD card to augment the memory.
Summary: A fairly nifty performer, has not failed me yet after 2 months of use. The only downside I feel is that the volume on incoming calls is a bit light, but that maybe me of course. Battery life is about average. You certainly get your money's worth in the music quality through the supplied headphones. First rate.
Summary: I was very confused before purchasing the phone as this was my first smart phone. I have never used other smart phone regularly so I am not going to purchase this with any other. I mainly purchased this one for apps and music. In both cases phone has performed very good and I was happy about my choice in that respect. pros Look and feel of the phone has been pretty good. The processor never got stuck and the performance is very good.
