HTC Desire C: My review, personal rating, 3 out of 10.
6 September 2013
Excerpt: The HTC Desire C is a small, and modest phone. When I purchased this phone, it had come with 2 GB of extra space in the form of an Micro SD card. I had owned the phone for about a month before i had begun to notice a few issues in regards to how the phone performs.
Excerpt: I got this phone because it was a very cheap phone and I was falsely lead by other user's reviews. This phone for me has an on-average battery life of 8 hours when I barely use it and is extremely laggy. Turning my phone on, the phone needs at least 10 minutes before I use it so I can click an application without it crashing on me.
Excerpt: Not root-friendly. Very difficult to root, meaning you can't get rid of the bloat and make room for the apps you want, nor run the apps that would make it worth spending the money for this Android 4 device. I get better performance from an old LG running Android 2.3.6 and only the stuff I want.
Excerpt: I've had this phone ever since a week since it was released, and now, the Home,Back and multi task buttons don't even work! The touch screen sensitivity is just... terrible. The camera is also a great disappointment to me. Also, the silver trim around the screen's " ink " gets chipped off easily. Always been a loyal fan of HTC but.... I will never recommend this phone. However, the HTC One series is great, so I'm not complaining about the brand!
