Conclusion: The HTC Desire C is a fine low-end smartphone. It's compact and cute, and will certainly get the job done for most standard tasks. The price for this phone is just right. It's priced very closely to rivals such as the Sony Ericsson Xperia ray and Motorola Defy+ or Mini .
Pros: Good looks, Android 4 out-of-the-box, Beats Audio
Summary: The HTC Desire C is a nicely designed budget Android 4.0 handset. It could make a good first smartphone but doesn't have any outstanding features. The price is attractive but if you're not bothered about NFC then it's worth paying an extra £20 for the HTC One V for its superior screen and better...

Summary: Can this small, rubber clad phone climb head and shoulders above its competition?
Pros: Attractive design, ICS & Sense 4.0, Beats Audio, Easy to use, HTC produces some lovely handsets with a real focus on design: take a look at the original Desire , or the One X , and the Desire C hasn't been overlooked, with the curved rubber chassis giving a solid, comfortable feel in hand. It's g...
Cons: Slow and sluggish, screen unresponsive at times, poor account integration, Unfortunately HTC hasn't deemed it necessary to give the Desire C a power boost, sticking with the same, sluggish processor found in its predecessors. This makes the Desire C's user experience a frustrating one, as you fin...
Conclusion: The HTC Desire C is a decent little smartphone, with Ice Cream Sandwich as a special treat and a half decent camera too, but that low-powered processor means it's outshone by other low-priced Androids.
Pros: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, HTC Sense 4.0, decent camera
Conclusion: When you set the HTC Desire C down alongside rival affordable devices, it's pretty easy to see what you get. You get better design and build and you get a user interface that has some really nice refinements in Sense 4.
Pros: Good sized 3.5-inch display but in small package, latest software, great design and build
Cons: Camera lacks autofocus, battery life is poor, looks a little pricey compared to other budget models, Beats turning on and off suggests a software bug
