HTC Desire

CNET
19 April 2014
  • Summary: HTC has packed every feature under the sun into the Desire, along with a slick user interface and plenty of processing power. Although not as sexy as the HTC Legend or as polished as the iPhone, the Desire is a smart phone that inspires lust
  • Cons: Some home-screen widgets need polishing; Android is still somewhat geeky; short battery life; AMOLED screen is hard to see in sunlight.

HTC Desire Review: In Depth

Recombu
27 December 2011
  • Conclusion: There’s just not much wrong with the HTC Desire. Like most feature-heavy smartphones, battery life was something of an issue but there’s always the option to turn the 3G off to save battery and cut down on widgets. We fell completely in love with the Desire – it seemed to know everything we wanted to do, and made it all ridiculously quick and easy to do. And, with the killer combination of speed, grace and that deliciously touchable AMOLED screen, it’s a winner.

Buying HTC Desire screen protector – an eye opener for me

etechreviews.net
8 November 2010
  • Excerpt: You might think that buying a screen protector is very easy but I have had a really close look in the market and have realized that many of them are cheap imitations. I wanted to buy HTC Desire screen protector and looked hard to find the manufacturer’s original piece. I came across plenty of fake ones and here I am blogging about in order to make you aware about it. To start with, I would recommend you to go only for the original screen protectors.

HTC Desire – Mini Review

CoolSmartPhone
23 December 2010
  • Excerpt: The HTC Desire really caught us off-guard. If I’m honest the HTC Legend looked to be the better handset when we first saw them both. It was the design of the Legend that won us over, but the sales of the Desire seem to have proved otherwise. This is the “Android HD2″ that many people have asked us about. Inside is the very latest HTC Sense interface with Android 2.1 and a super-fast 1Ghz chip making everything zip along at a rate of knots.

HTC Desire review

Pocket Lint
29 March 2010
  • Excerpt: It would be fair to say the HTC Desire is the most anticipated phone of 2010. Perhaps an indication of this phone's significance, following the launch by HTC, a slew of announcements came from mobile phone operators saying they'd be stocking it. The Legend, by contrast, received no such attention. But is the HTC Desire that much more of a phone than the Legend? And what about its half-brother the Google Nexus One ?
  • Pros: Great web-browsing experience, HTC Sense, glorious AMOLED screen, solid build quality
  • Cons: Battery life, will be too big for some, unexpected browser closing (likely a software issue), widgets still take too long to refresh

First Look: HTC Desire review

Pocket Lint
16 February 2010
  • Excerpt: If you're thinking about getting a Google Nexus One , or are jealous of your mate that already has, then we've got some good news. The Nexus One has been trumped already, by this handset, the Nexus Two.
  • Pros: AMOLED screen, Android 2.1, Sense UI, optical navigation key, helicopter view
  • Cons: Loses active voice cancellation, voice command entry

HTC Desire

COMPUTER BILD
4 June 2014
  • Pros: Großer scharfer Bildschirm, Sehr einfache Bedienung, Reaktionsschnell, Viele Zusatzprogramme, Sehr gute Internetfunktionen, hohes UMTS-Tempo
  • Cons: Mittelmäßige Kamera, Nur 4 GB Speicher mitgeliefert
